You are a little mixed up.
The Apostle John is sometimes referred to as the Beloved disciple.
God loves all men equally, but He has as much right to like one above another as anyone else.

Could you give me chapter and verse on that, please?
Without that, I tried finding the reference online and didn't get any direct hits.
Jesus was fully God and fully MAN, meaning that He had all the feelings a human would. It would make perfect sense to me if He had a 'best' friend, as humans do. The apostles were all different, with differing personalities, so I don't find anything odd in that.
However, if you want to imply from this that Jesus as God loved one more than the other, then that is not the case.

God and Jesus are one. But, Jesus was basically God is skin so to say. He DID have human feelings like sadness, anger, and happiness. But when it comes to favorites, he loves everyone equally-He is still God, remember?
and the Bible is fully true-whatever one may think. need one of the many things that is true in the Bible? Look up Proverbs 30:33.

Am I the only individual who recognizes that the bible replaced into written by using a team of wealthy white adult men in a smoke filled room? Many truths and a lot of lies have been exceeded over. What went interior the bible replaced into in accordance with what could income the wealthy the main. Its no longer extraordinarily complicated. in many situations, human beings did no longer then and to at present nonetheless do no longer care plenty for the gay life style. The bible has a tendency to help this thought. Have a super day.

I thought he said that to Peter. Then Paul (and all of modern christianity) acted like he was God's favorite. But Jesus actually left the church to his brother James (Keeping it a family business I guess).
But like the bumper sticker says "Jesus loves you, but I'm his Favorite." :-p

Jesus loved all his disciples, even Judas. He just loved them in different ways and for different reasons. No favorites.
