To get the ball rolling I am a Deist from living in Southern England.

I am more interested in what people are using R&S in relation to geography than what faith is popular were.

I am not in a red area. The majority of the time I live in California, I have a dual citizenship (Spain & US)
I am not sure what belief system I fall under, but: I do believe in the teachings of Jesus who was a great prophet but I struggle with the notion that he is a deity, I don't believe the Bible is to be taken literally and I have issue with organized religion. Can you find a label for me? lol

Baptist in Texas, the western side of the Bible Belt. It is interesting that the Wikipedia article mentioned that faith was not a driving factor in the colonizing of those areas (like it was in New England). However, the presence of slaves in the South contibuted to deep religious roots. The slave songs they wrote while working the land are very beautiful and many are still around in the form of hymns.

I live in the red area, the Bible Belt and I am spiritualist with Christian and Buddhist influence...and yes, where I live, on the coastline, you will find a larger variety of beliefs than when you move inland, away from the coast. The reason for this is the coastal area traditionally has people coming in and leaving the area often...so we are more tolerant...

Outside the red area (Ann Arbor, MI) and I'm either an atheist or a pantheist (what I believe fits well into both views depending on the definition of God used) but I generally refer to myself as an atheist.

I'm not in the red area -- I live in Boulder, Colorado. But Colorado Springs should be shown as an island of red; it's as Bible Belt as anywhere.

I'm an atheist, but that isn't my "belief system" really.
