Its time out for foolishness and percrastination, we have sat down way too long, its time for us to step up to the plate with a "War Cry". We are warriors of the Most High God Jesus Christ and he is looking for people who will stand firm and established, not being moved by every wind of doctrine. The time is now and we must fight the Good fight of Faith (1 Tim 6:12).

Get ready to go on the battle field of the Lord,

Eph 6:10 ¶ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Echad polygamy is considered 'oneness' polygamy where one man is married to multiple women but the women are considered married to eachother which permits bisexuality.
Traditional polygamy is considered when a man is married to multiple woman but each relationship is a separate marriage.

A spirit has no feeling and cannot think, we all felt that experience before we were born, we had no feeling and no mind. we were just a spirit? or nothing, we just didn't exist?

Why do Pagans choose to see it as us stealing their holidays when all we are doing is offering a Christian event to celebrate instead of a Pagan one?

Why does it matter that we don't the know actual birthday of Jesus Christ & choose to celebrate it on December 25th?

Why does it matter that we choose to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ at the beginning of Spring considering His death was to make all things new again to those of us who believe. It's a symbol of our ability to be reborn even as all things God created are reborn in the Spring.

Is it equally offensive that churches offer Fall Festivals on Halloween to counter-act the effects of evil & witchcraft on that most hallowed day for Satanists?

Your thoughts please....

I will state upfront that I am an Anabaptist. But that in and of itself is not why I am asking the question. I am divorced, my faith and reading of scripture tells me that remarriage is sin if the "ex" is still living. In a conversation today on the matter I mentioned to someone that this is one reason that the church cannot perform a divorce, only a marriage. A "writing of divorce" can only be obtained from the state. Someone then told me that the Catholic church can nullify a marriage. So I guess I have two questions:

1) Is this so?

2) If so, what is the scriptural basis of this?

I am not asking this as a veiled attack. Rather I had never heard of this before and was curious as to the Catholic position. Thank you.

I have been dealing with a situation where some of my closest friends betrayed me. I'm not going into any details. So I've really been studying forgiveness and listening to teaching on the subject. It's something I really struggle with. I've heard a lot of teaching (the majority of teaching on this subject) where you don't have to forget. Where is that in the Bible? I don't see it. All I see are references to forgiving and FORGETTING "Their sins and inequities He remembered no more" - and on and on and on. That we are to have a complete do-over so that we don't even remember what they did. A complete clean slate, where we view our Christian brother as a sinner saved by grace just like us, instead of my Christian brother, I've forgiven you , but you are the guy that did X to me so that every time we hear their name we don't think about them as a brother in Christ that we love, but this guy that did X to me. See? a clean slate, no memory. all gone. (cont)

In many Western Countries, polygamy is illegal. However, God commands that if a man dies without a son, that his brother will marry his widow and have children in his name and they will be the deceased mans heirs. This is commanded and it doesn't matter if the brother is already married or not. Would you obey God or your country?

Orson Pratt (LDS apostle) stated: "the great Messiah who was the founder of the Christian religion, was a polygamist...marrying many honorable wives himself…God the Father had a plurality of wives…the Son followed the example of his Father…both God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ inherit their wives in eternity as well as in time" (The Seer, p.172, 1853).

What do you think of this contribution by a muslim? The point is to show those that state not a single muslim has contributed anything are wrong.

"Distillation, the means of separating liquids through differences in their boiling points, was invented around the year 800 by Islam's foremost scientist, Jabir ibn Hayyan, who transformed alchemy into chemistry, inventing many of the basic processes and apparatus still in use today - liquefaction, crystallisation, distillation, purification, oxidisation, evaporation and filtration. As well as discovering sulphuric and nitric acid, he invented the alembic still, giving the world intense rosewater and other perfumes and alcoholic spirits (although drinking them is haram, or forbidden, in Islam). Ibn Hayyan emphasised systematic experimentation and was the founder of modern chemistry."

We are told God is immortal. That he has always existed and always will. He is the beginning and the end. The alpha & omega.

100 billion humans have lived and died on this tiny blue dot we call home, so why do Christians believe God decided to bless us with his teachings and his son only 2,000 years ago? Before the “birth of Christianity”, was their no divine presence? What was God doing from between 200,000 years ago* and 2-3,000 years ago, when he gave us his divine teachings? For 198,000 years man was on the earth before God decided to dictate his divine teachings into bible form. Doesn't this seem a little odd?

I know that this is a general question of whether we have free will. But I think that scripture is pretty clear on the fact that we are all dead in our sins until we are saved by the grace and mercy of God.

You're right cause the bible says this and that... you say that you're open minded about the world around you... have you ever actually stepped back and seen the world from another perspective? Have you ever thought to think for yourselves and come up with your own ideas about life, creation, existence... everything? Of course you think that you do and have but the reality is that you were spoon fed your ideas from another person who felt the need to "enlighten" you to their views of the world... which you think are your own. I would never try to convert another to my personal view of the world, so I ask, what is this urge that so many christians feel to convert me to their ways?

They dress similar to Amish in style, but with more color. The outfits are the same, yet Amish only seem to use colors like black and grey. These people use alot of bright blue with black. But other than that the clothes are the same - Abe Lincoln looking top hats for the men and the Abe Lincoln beard as well, and dresses that pretty much come down past the knees almost to the ankles for the women with a white bonnet. Unlike Amish, these people actually drive cars and use power. This is why im almost certain they are not Amish as i regularly see them in cars and the such. Im in Ohio and see quite a few of them in the farmland/small town areas.
Any clues?
