There is a historical perspective of this. My feeling is that most Christians are happy with the state of things; and the only ones who are frothing currently are fundies.

I don't want a Christian nation. I want a democratic one.

This Catholic Christian doesn't want a war over anything, much less a label. It seems pretty silly to fight over things that really don't matter in the long run.

There are too many important issues like poverty, illiteracy, and hunger to waste our time on things like labeling.

By the "state of things," what on earth do you mean? Because if you mean the US war on Iraq, the slow but sure-coming acceptance of gay marriages, abortion rights, and a generally immoral society, I would say, no most Christians are not happy with the state of things.

The Fundies would fight among themselves if there wasn't anyone else to fight. It's a matter of power and control just like in the Muslim world and in Ireland or Serbia. It's "onward Christian soldiers" kill, Kill, KILL. For God, of course.

and i am very accepting of other religions, becuse im aware of the fact i may be wrong, but i dont believ that really any one religion is completely correct over another

They always look like they have been eating whipped cream from the can. They are like a bratty 3 year old jumping screaming me-me holding a loaded gun.

I just want a nation that allows religious freedom, and doesn't try to take my religious freedoms away through a group called the ACLU.
