He says in Mark 4:31: "It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth."

But right in his area were dozens of orchards and duckweeds, and people were cultivating poppies; they all have smaller seeds.

If it was meant to be just for the purposes of story telling, why didn't he just leave out the part about it being "less than all the seeds that be in the earth?" It would have gotten the point across.

Did Jesus not have the knowledge of the things he (or God) had created?

I have been told numerous times by Christians that the reason I am an atheist is because "You want to live an immoral lifestyle so you deny the existence of God so you will not have to be accountable for your sins." This has got to be the absolute worst attempt by you people to find an excuse to hate atheists. If I really wanted to use a religion to justify bad behavior, I would become a Satanist, not an atheist.

I’m talking about the parts that instruct people to stone their families to death, encourage slavery and misogyny, that prohibit men with crushed testicles from going to church etc, I mean, nobody, not even the foaming-at-the-mouth fanatics follow these instructions so let’s get rid of them. Having them there but not acknowledging them is a bit like being deceitful to God anyway, isn’t it?

Its here! ITS HERE!?
I live in the southwest, arizona to be exact. Ive lived here for 36 years barring a few wanderlust moments. There is one thing here in my desert that I have always found absolutely delicious and that is the monsoon. Being a lay about in the pool, 420 am. And almost like a hollywood/biblical moment there is the most brilliant flash and the desert is absolutely still. Then out of the quiet comes this rolling thunder as loud as artillery a few miles away. And just like someone flipped a switch... a sheet of water hits me. (Damn... time to get outa the pool.) Sitting on the porch in the darkness, still 420 am... its really always 420 am, nature or god or whatever gives its version of the fourth of july at a water park. Then...
ten minutes later...
nothing.
Just the sound of the water dripping from the roof.

Life returns.

Whoever made, or whatever made it...
I think we can at least agree that what IT is
is awesome in the purest sense of the word.

I wish to know the views of the respective believers of Christianity and Hinduism that wherether there is any contradiction between Lord Jesus and Lord Krishna or is there any supermacy of one to the other?

Are they similar in nature or one is the representative of God while the other is Devil - what is your interpretation and why?

I mean by God people just ask the same stuff over and over
Women oppressed in Islam and Christians and Muslims and Atheists and every one just picking at each other and each others religion. If we all believe that religion is really personal then why do we keep telling other people that our religion is better then theirs. its a matter of choice is not it. People always believe what they want to believe.

Is it really our business what people do? Personally, I've known a few who were gay and they were great people.

Do they really need us preaching at them? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure they already know how some Christians feel about it.

I cannot for the life of me understand this logic. Creationists argue that the universe is to complex to have happened by chance. They have a huge problem believing the complexity of our universe could have come about by chance, but they have no problem believing that God, who is way more complex than our universe, could have happened by chance.

during the last day of a novena, i attended a catholic mass. i didn't feel spiritual or close to Jesus at all. there was a lot of ritual that i didn't understand the point of. i am not criticizing, i am just curious why i didn't feel anything spiritual and what i could've been missing out on?
