...tell us that even though we're Atheists, Agnostics, Buddists, etc. who truly don't believe in their God, that we do deep down? They say that though we deny belief, we're lying. I.E.--"You really believe in God, but you deny it because you're too prideful and afraid. But deep down you know he's real."
So, to all those claiming we believe in God, here's one for ya--"I believe in Scathach. I think that deep down you don't believe in God, but you know Scathach exists instead and you are just too prideful and vain to admit it. So you believe in her and just don't want to admit it."
Does that put it into perspective? So stop telling us that we believe in God, because we don't. It's that simple--we aren't too prideful, we aren't too vain, and we're sure that he doesn't exist. So try to stop saying that we do believe when we clearly don't.
I respect your beliefs and understand that you believe in God, but we simply don't. Please accept that.
Everyone get the point?
