Hmmm?? Which is it?

Is it wrong for me to not want to talk about your religion and relationship with God to other people. I have this friend that constantly talks about his religion, what he does at church, tells me that I need to do more in the my church like him. It gets a little annoying because it doesn’t sound like he is a proud Christian, it sounds like he is he looks down on anybody who does not go to church as much as him. I am a Christian, I go to church, and I love the lord but I feel that my relationship with the lord is personal and that I shouldn't have to constantly talk about it every minute. Is it wrong to feel this way? Should I let him know how I feel...if so, how could I tell him without seeming like I am ashamed of my relationship with the lord. I really need some advice with this. Thanks.

how could we trust history?? how could we say this guy or this guy did that...we dont know **** !! in around a 100 yrs everybody on this planet will be dead...no not the appocalypse...but another generation....who ever really thinks of that...we are no ones actually, were nobodies, were nothing....unless you create your own purpose...

In Psalm 2:7, the Lord said to David: "...Thou art my son: this day have I begotten thee."

(Matthew 5:45, 48). Luke 3:38 says: "...Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the Son of God."

Who is mentioned in Hebrews 7:3 as like unto the Son of God? It is Melchisedec, King of Salem, as mentioned in Hebrews 7:1.

Moreover, Adam did not have a mother or father, but was the first human being created by God and in the likeness of God to exist in the Garden of Eden and on earth. Wouldn’t this give more rights to Adam to be called the Son of God in its truest meaning?

I have never ever heard of one Atheist killing him/herself.But yet you are the ones with the high count.For example when Rev Jim Jones and his followers killed themselves most of them where Christians.

when someone says that they're "all that & a bag of chips", exactly what kind of chips are they?

be very Godly, someone speaks of tougue of God's glory but bears very bad fruit. Someone who has pride and ego same size of santan's, someone who thinks that is his birth right to use and abuse women emotional and physically and mentally, someone who is a pathological liar and constantly lie about everything. someone who is promiscous and yet prides himself as David, someone who is pround of the fact that he loves God but yet refuses to repent. Someone who is cruel, unkind, vindicative, loud, someone who is entitled to abuse, manipulate and use others, someone who will respond to your kind reminder with violent rage of asking you to remove your logs in your eyes. someone you want to remind him that God sees everything he does and what is in his heart. Some one you pray for his repentece.
Do people like this exists? Are they from God. Will God save them again before it is too late?
The David thing, why is it so common and convienece for them to say they are David

I created a baby registry mostly so my mom would know what to get, since we don't live in the same state. A few friends have asked if I'm having a shower & I've told them I'm not. I feel awkward mentioning that I have a registry because I don't want to come across as rude or presumptious, like i'm expecting a gift. Should I mention it, maybe in an email, or send them the link to it?

I'm hosting a backyard BBQ and I will have a volleyball net up in my backyard for the occasion. Besides providing plenty of food, booze, and the volleyball game, are there any other good ways I can make sure my guests will be entertained? Basically, it's a drinking game, but you reveal something embarassing, little known or scandalous about your past by saying "I never _____________", even though you really did do that. And then anyone who has also done that takes a drink.

Some religious people (not all, of course) assume that because a person has a tattoo, is pierced, listens to death metal or wears all black that they are evil. This happens with young religious types against others all the time--even in this day and age. Why are these people being taught that how a person looks or what music they listen to shows who they are spiritually?

My little brother is a metalhead, and also a devout Christian. People of his church shun him simply based on looks--they do not take a few minutes to simply talk to him and see that he is a great person on the inside.

It also goes the other way--if someone around here dresses according ot their faith, they must be good. My father did that and looked like an amazingly kind person. He went to church every day and was a devout follower of Catholic faith. He was also a horrible person--he lied, cheated people out of their money, and did dozens of other things. Yet some people would trust him over my brother.

4th-"Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it Holy"

I used to be a Baptist, but got fed up with the 10 Commandment retoric and the leaving out of the 4th one. When asked I would be told "We are under Grace not Law, no need to follow old number 4, but you have to keep those others or go to HELL." Why leave out the 4th? It is b/c it is inconvienent? A part of Satan's plan? And no, I don't believe we have lost track of time and Sunday is really the seventh day or Jesus decreed that we change.
