No, it reminds me nothing of Christianity, or Islam, or Buddhism, or Judaism, or Scientology, or any other religion. It's the non-belief in gods or religion with no doctrines, no dogmas, no bibles, no hymns, no collection plates, no hierarchy, no governing bodies, no rites and rituals, no meetings, no churches, no prayers, no hypocrisy, no judgment, no threats of hell or empty promises of heaven...nope, can't see any resemblance at all.

atheist

The Atheist Bible, it could be said, has but one word: "THINK." - Emmett Fields

No, it doesn't!...
I mean, really, --- how could it?

After all,...
Christianity is a set of principles, tenets, and beliefs which are supported, for the most part, by conscientious devotees, - as well as by a few over-zealous, militant fanatics who refuse to allow anyone to question their ideology on the grounds that they are based in absolute truths...

Atheism, on the other hand, is a set of principles, tenets, and beliefs which are supported, for the most part, by conscientious devotees, - as well as by a few over-zealous, militant fanatics who refuse to allow anyone to.. question.... their........ideology....on, - ummmmm.........
..... Hmmmm?

...Nevermind.

It sometimes reminds me of born-again fundamentalism. Not because of their zeal, but because (in general) that's the only form of Christianity with which many seem to be familiar.

No. Totally opposite.

More like the complete opposite. Maybe Scientology, they sort of got the whole cross and church thing going except without the existance of a god.
