I saw my identical twin sister in a dream....2 times. She came to me in a dream a few weeks after she died. I dreamed that I was asleep, and she came to me and told me to wake up and come to her room with her. She said she needed to talk. So I went to her rrom with her, and she told me that it was so beautiful where she was and that she was ok. She said she was not in pain anymore and not to worry.
A few weeks later, I had the same dream, only this time she told me that she loved it so much where she was that she was not going to be coming back to see me much any more, if ever, because she did not want to leave. She also told me that she would always love me and be watching over me.
That was almost 17 years ago. I have only dreamed of her a few times since, and she has never returned to talk to me again.
Yes, I was very comforted and still am.
What a cool thing to have happened to me.
I choose to believe that it was God's way of letting me know she was ok. She and I were telepathic all of our lives until she died. We were mirror twins.

absolutely! and it was a life changing experience for me!...it was about six years after she passed and i was awake early about dawn, had just sent my partner off to work, and my daughter was still sleeping..when i heard a knock at the back screen door, it was summer, very quiet and the door was open but the screen was latched. i called softly; who is it?, thinking my partner had forgotten something. my mom said; it's me, come open the door..so i went, unlatched the screen and she was there looking as she had when she was in her prime. we hugged and touched and embraced often while she was there...we went and sat on my daughter's bedside cause mom hadn't met her, she was just three. it felt totally natural and i was so happy to see her and know that she was fine, better than ever really. we had a wonderful visit, she told me many things, but her main message was that everything would be ok in the end...so not to worry. then she said she could stay no longer and i walked with her to the door, we embraced and said bye for now and she left as she had come. i've had many anomalous events in my 59 years, this one was the one that gave me the most reason to have to alter my belief system to include many things i wasn't sure of yet and i thank her often for that gift!
i was wide awake during the whole experience and am positive i was not hallucinating...i have never done psychotropics of that strength either

My beloved grandparents reared me up. My lovely grandmother passed away when I was only 17, leaving me a very empty and bitter young lady.
My grandfather outlived her by over 15 years. From time to time, he appears in my dreams. Always, his mission is to guide me, or show me another prespective, although he doesn't "tell" me what to do. Honestly, I do not think this is from the 'spirit world", but rather divine guidance, using a vessel that I respect and will listen to.
But once, and only once, while in my early thirties, while standing in my kitchen, peeling potatoes with no one else in the house---I turned around to answer my grandmother's voice. She had already been dead for 1/2 of my life.
I can't quite name the sensation I felt, it wasn't fear or even spiritual...it was as if I had merely "misplaced" her..........

The viel between the worlds is very thin in Dreams and I am comforted in them by those who have left this realm of tears. The strongest is a great Aunt who was a guide in this world and did not stop just because her body was gone. I trust her more than many living.

When I was 14, my boyfriend killed himself in front of me. A week later, I would swear on a stack of bibles, I saw him sitting on the edge of my bed one night. It startled me and I shouted out and he went away and never showed himself again. I wish I hadn't shouted. I wished he had come back. For weeks I would feel him in my house. Or I would hear an unusual sound that I thought was him. Then it just stopped.
I still wish I hadn't shouted. It would have been very comforting.

One time when I was having some bad problems in my marriage I had spent the night crying and at some pre-dawn hour I was just lying on the bed in a sort of state of exhaustion. I wasn't crying anymore but I was just emotionally spent. I was not asleep, I am positive that I was not asleep!!
I looked up and my mom was standing next to the bed looking down at me. After a few moments she sat down on the bed and reached out to stroke me. The bed moved when she sat down and I felt her touch me - it was all crystal clear.
Unfortunately I started when she touched me and then I couldn't see her anymore. I believe she was still there - I just wasn't in a state that I could see her anymore. It was wonderful of my mom coming back to comfort me in my darkest hour.
If someone told me that it was my imagination I would tell them that they are entitled to their opinion but I know what happened. I saw her, I felt her, I felt the bed move when she sat on it. I don't need others to believe me.
BTW, the marital problems worked out and we're still happily married.

Yes...My Mother Alicia Longoria and she looked so very wonderful. She was wearing the best black dress I ever seen her in and her hair was in an incredible beehive...I knew heaven was real at that very moment. She only comes back when she has a strong opinion about something I'm about to do.
Thank you GOD

I do this all the time. Dreamed of my Grandmother that died a few years ago just last night. I believe that it is her way of coming for a visit. She can no longer visit in the physical sense so she comes in my dreams. I would tell another person that it is quite all right, they are just visiting. Enjoy the visit. This is my way of answering. Hope it helps.

One night about seven years after my husband died, I awoke to find him standing at the left side of my bed. In a few seconds, I turned my head the other way and he was there . Nothing was said. Then he was gone. It was a calm, peaceful feeling.

Yes. My parents. They appeared as white lights. No, they didn't talk; they thought. After the initial startle, I got that warm and fuzzy feeling inside, knowing they're still around. It wasn't my imagination, period.
