In the Pledge of Allegiance, would you rather have "under God." removed, or allow people to say "Under God/Gods/Goddess/Satan/ect" to be said? Just wondering how many of you know what freedom of religion really means.

The first announcement of the Eucharist divided the disciples, just as the announcement of ths passion scandalized them: "This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?" (Jn 6:60). The Eucharist and the Cross are stumbling blocks. It is same mystery and it never ceases to be an occasion of division. "Will you also go away?" (Jn 6:67). The Lord's question echoes through the ages, as a loving invitation to discover that only he has "The words of eternal life"(Jn6:68) and that to receive the gift of the Eucharist is to receive the Lord himself.
The Church has celebrated the Eucharist from the beginning at the Lord's command. The Protestant Reformers turned the Eucharist to only a sympolic representation. But this was not so for 1600 years until them.
Jesus means what he says, and says only what he means. "This is my Body" "This is my Blood" "Do this in memory of Me" He gave them his body, blood, soul and divinity to partake of. Memorial for jews is real presence.

The Church told us:

1. The sun revolves around the earth.
(1 Chronicles 16:30 & Ecclesiastes 1:5)

WRONG

2. The earth is flat.
(Revelation 7:1 & Isaiah 11:12)

WRONG

3. The sky is a solid dome.
(Gen 1:14-17 & Job 37:18)

Why our private parts will have to be hidden?And why those are to be called as "PRIVATE"?? Is it that for those are for giving birth to new men and women...is it not a quite riddiculous and lame logic cause?,we all know what we have in our body ,the male organ the female organ and how those look,so why do we need to hide those,is it for those will be seen by all other and they juzz any indovidual by those organ and they will like or love or marry for it's size and appearance,if so then it's a complete hypocracy..Models,actors/actresses and pornography artists show those organs in front of the camera and let others view those only for money and for nothing,but not in elsewhere..so it's also another form of hypocracy because they hide those organs and then expose and let other peoples see thoseso that they can earn money,so it's also a commercial-hypocracy and one kind of "cheating" in the form of "acting",doctors can see those,touch those,cut and repair those,so why not we all?

Why do Catholics mark their faces on Ash Wednesday, when the Bible says that we are not to signify in any way that we are fasting.

Matthew 6:16

One can attend a church service or Jewish Synagogue without being a member of it for various reasons. Do atheists feel uncomfortable in these settings or do they find these experiences as meaningful social gatherings with family and friends if invited to attend on special occasions?

It's on (almost) every pastor's lips, radio & television, anyone can say anything and just say it's "what God wants." They can quote a Bible verse to "prove" it, tell you to pray to see whether it's true or not, etc. but I'm suspicious of anyone doing the talking for God. Your thoughts on this?

It really saddens me to see so many dirogatory questions concerning black people tonight. I have been in this category several times in the past and I've never seen it this bad! Every other question is just plain ignorant!! I understand that they are merely seeking attention and trying to get people stirred up because they carry so much hatred in thier souls that they don't have any humanity left, but it is getting way out of hand!!

My suggestion is this:

Please don't answer their questions anymore. Your responses don't make a difference to them! They thrive on hate and are looking for the negative attention, so they can justify their beliefs! They have no souls and are very cold hearted!
If we just stop answering, before we know it, they will get bored answering eachother's questions and hopefully go away!!!

Hi, when I was 20 years old I was told that someone put a spell on me. The spell was done to make me see how I treat my friends. At the time I was very skeptical but as time goes by I'm seeing some patterns through my life that is making me wonder if this is true. It was apparently done by someone who was not a friend and I felt didn't have validation to do something like that to me. I want to know if this kind of thing is real and if so how do I get rid of it. I don't think I'm a bad person and I treat all my friends how I expect to be treated. I am finding that I always have one person in my life that repeats certain things to me as this witch lady said to me but they never knew her. I find this very spooky and wish to dispel anything from my life thats negative
