I dont know if i'm a good christian but i try to be ^_^
but as a christian, my personal beliefs are similar to the 7th day adventist, i.e. i believe the sabbath is on saturday, not sunday, and i believe in the old testament laws regarding clean and unclean meats.............
Squid would be considered an unclean meat to me, so yes, it would bother me to eat it....
but if the question is in general the idea of "Cutting off the legs of an animal just so you can eat it" or "Killing/hurting another animal just for food" the idea does slightly disturb me, but i confess, i am only human, and as much as i think animals are cute and helpless little creatures, and would hate to see them hurt, i still cant give up a thanksgiving turkey, or a cheeseburger ~.~

Nope. Love calamari. Love squid. Eat squid tubes all the time. Like munching on little octopus too!!!

Genesis 9:3-4 . . .Every moving animal that is alive may serve as food for YOU. As in the case of green vegetation, I do give it all to YOU. 4 Only flesh with its soul—its blood—YOU must not eat.
Unless it made some sad, then I wouldn't do it. If someone in my presence thinks it is wrong, I would show them due honor and refrain from eating it.

I hate squid and calamari. I don't kill anything unless I have to to survive.

You can just boil the entire squid and dump it on a plate of pasta, I've seen this in traditional Chinese restaurants.
Then you can make use of the entire disgusting thing.

Are you a vegetarian? I believe the squid is dead before its legs get cut off.

Very strange question that I think has nothing to do with being a "good Christian", but personally it would bother me if it was alive, because I can't even bate a minnow to fish! I don't order lobster either, because I don't want to be it's "excecutioner". LOL
