The only US Presidential candidates to support same sex marriage are Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich.

Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel do, last I checked, but who knows, they might change their minds. And even if they stick with it, there is no way they will get elected. They have a snowball's chance in hell, or, if you will, an openly gay person's chance among evangelicals.
Everyone else is too focused on winning the "moral majority" to accept equal rights for LGBTQ. The big three democrats (Obama, Clinton, and Edwards) are, respectively, supportive of gays openly in the military but not for gay marriage, saying that "it should be up to each state" (on a federal matter), and "just not ready to accept it".
And you just know that nobody else in the democratic party has a chance, that third parties never have a chance, and that no republican will support gay rights, and even if he did the party would never nominate him.
*sigh* How about some civil rights? If we can vote for someone to rule our country, we should be able to get married and be protected from hate crimes.
EDIT: I would love, love, love! to see an atheist president! Or at the very least, a president who was perfectly comfortable saying "Screw it, this is not a Christian nation and we have separation of church and state. We will not let your spirituality, or any other, discriminate against others." Justice doesn't bend for god, or for hate, or for anything else... and I want a president with the balls (or ovaries, or neither or both, even) to say that.
ANOTHER EDIT: I just found this website (seriously 7 hours later) and came back to post it. You may find it helpful; it basically says that all the democrats say they are for gay rights, but only Gravel and Kucinich approve of full marriage equality. http://a4.g.akamai.net/f/4/19675/0/newmill.download.akamai.com/19677/anon.newmediamill/pdfs/Questionnaire_ReportCard.pdf

No, none of them do. Except for Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich; but they won't win; they aren't major candidates. All of the candidates for 2008 are religious, and I am afraid that is bad for LGBT groups in the US. I would love for once, an atheist president. I am saddened by the fact that this is happening to our country. Hope this helps. Bye!!!

I didn't know of any until I read answers to this question from other users. Politicians are not ready to show the courage it would take for them to openly support gay marriage. As gay Americans, we pay the same taxes as heterosexuals so we should have all the same rights. I propose a tax credit for gay taxpayers for each special right heterosexuals have which we do not.
