I am having a hard time finding anything in the Bible about child neglect or abuse. My 3 granddaughters are being mentally abused and I sure could use some scripture to read.

I'm a lefty and I'm gay.
Don't get me for asking this-- I'm just curious. I'm not preforming some type of "Well if your ____ handed, your gay" study.

Ok, so this discussion was going on in another forum I'm on, and I thought I'd share with you guys and see what you think.

A man, let's call him Jim, is in a long term, serious relationship with a woman, let's call her Mary. Jim does not want kids, ever, and has told Mary this. Mary does want kids and has tried several times to talk Jim out of his stance, to no avail. So Mary goes off her birth control without telling Jim, they have sex, and surprise! Mary is pregnant. Jim is, of course, furious and feels like the trust in their relationship has been violated beyond the point of repair. He simply cannot fathom staying with someone who tricked him like that. Mary insists that she's keeping the baby, and wants Jim to stay with her, but Jim knows that, if he did, it would be detrimental to both of them and the child.

What should they do? Why?

WARNING: Turn your volumes down. Not all the way, but so they are pretty low. The sound on this video is loud. And, yes, it's meant to sound like it does. It didn't sound any better originally, I promise you.

Little Hitler indeed. Poor kid. Every day I realize more and more just how many people actually screw their children up like this and make them victims of extremism. Just as bad, I watch too many Christians actually listen to and defend it. Those of you who answered my previous questions know that once I saw the horrors of the Creation Museum I stopped taking it lightly. If you don't believe me, check out my previous question:

I think the true Christians should stand up and help fight this oppression and abuse. I know some of you have already started in your own ways. The more the merrier.

Islam and Christianity, the world's two largest Divine religions, have many beliefs in common, such as God's (Allah) absolute existence, His eternal existence, His creation of the universe from nothing, and His control of all matter through His infinite might. Muslims and Christians oppose the same intellectual errors; struggle against atheism, racism, fascism, and moral degeneration; and use very similar methods to communicate the message of God's existence. Their common aim is to help all people know God (Allah) so that they can build a world full of justice, one in which they can live in peace and tolerance. They act out of fear, respect, and love for God; follow the path of His messengers, and abide by His revelation.

I strongly recommended you to look at this dialogue between Christians and Muslims which will enlighten you about the TRUTH. You can find this dialogue at this link:

Ok, I want to make a movie, of religious history...not like a documentary. It will be based on the bible...but it will cover more stuff.

I can imagine what I want...like I want the beginning of the movie to showthe war in Heaven then Lucifer and the 1/3 of heaven falling, with like that viking music that's like (DUH DUH DUH DUH!!!! .......DUH DUH DUH DUH!!!!.........you know!).

anyway, then it would like show the creation of the world, Adam and eve, them being kicked out of the garden. Stories liek samson, Noah, Jonah, Moses, King Davids rule, etc...then of course spend awhile with Jesus...the birth, soem of his life(turning water into wine and makign more fish and bread)...his death, ressurection, ascension into heaven...

end of story right?

No...I want to show like Rome persecuting the Christians, the formation of the Roman Catholic Church, formation of Islam, crusades and the dark age, colonization of the Americas...formation of Mormonism and then the book of revelation.

If the soulk is immortal, did it have a life before you were born? There are three life stages that we progress through:
1. Life before life.
2. Earth life.
3. Life after death.
There are some rare incidents where people claim to have been a preview of their coming lives.
What is your opinion on life before life?

It's the throwing in of the towel on the mysteries of life. It's saying, I can't make head or tail out of any of this ****, so I'll just go with what everyone is doing. If they're all getting down on their knees, eating a cookie and believing it's the body of Christ, then I will too. If they're all wrapping themselves in leather thongs, covering their heads with beanies, and rocking back and forth, that's what I'll do. If everybody else is bowing to Mecca six times a day, I guess that's what I must do, too. This is the behavior of lemmings following other lemmings off the edge of the cliff. There is absolutely no difference between praying to Jesus, praying to Jehovah, bowing to Mecca, or lighting incense to Krishna, than there is sieg heiling to Hitler, blindly following Pol Pot into the killing fields, or chopping up Tutsis with machetes. It's all called thoughtless behavior.

What are your reasons why you believe there is no God? Also I personally believe the statement 'there is no God' cannot be true because in order for us to be able to say that and it be true means we would have to have utter and complete knowledge of the entire universe etc., and if you are honest nobody has that knowledge completely so it is possible God could exist where we have not discovered yet much like when scientist did not believe in germs etc. until an instrument was made where we could see germs etc., maybe we just haven't found a way yet to 'see God' so to speak. What are your thoughts on this?

Only a little over a fourth of the population have achieved my education level. Why would I entrust a less educated personwith my salvation?
I have been tested by the state for my ability to read and comprehend complex documents. How then is someone with less education supposed to guide me? It makes no sense whatsoever.

God who created all of us equal and is not the author of confusion could not be the blame for a racist tradition in a racist church. It sort of makes me believe if blacks were still slaves mormons would be one of the religions saying it is for their own good instead of trying to liberate blacks like the quakers did.

If I am to avoid sinning, I must abide by all his rules, without question, without doubt, without even thinking about it ... just obey.

When I get to heaven, I am to be re-programmed so that all the sadness I've picked up in life will be wiped clean and new software downloaded.

Without my pain, I won't even be me anymore (anyone recall that line of Kirk's from the Star Trek movie where they find "god"?).

And like robots, if we go berserk god feels no pity at wiping us all out (Gen. 6-7). Even baby robots.

If I use my brain, think and challenge god to explain himself, I'm a bad robot.

Bad robots go to the recycling centre (aka the Lake of Fire).

While God may not want to be worshipped by robots, it seems he wants people to act like robots.

Why is that?
