Islam and Christianity, the world's two largest Divine religions, have many beliefs in common, such as God's (Allah) absolute existence, His eternal existence, His creation of the universe from nothing, and His control of all matter through His infinite might. Muslims and Christians oppose the same intellectual errors; struggle against atheism, racism, fascism, and moral degeneration; and use very similar methods to communicate the message of God's existence. Their common aim is to help all people know God (Allah) so that they can build a world full of justice, one in which they can live in peace and tolerance. They act out of fear, respect, and love for God; follow the path of His messengers, and abide by His revelation.

Not sure what you are talking about, but you are quite wrong on many points. There is very little that these two have in common. Christianity demands the acceptance of Jesus as the Son of God sent to reconcile a lot and dying world back to God. Islam deny, and refuses to accept Gods son, not only that, Christ toughed that if someone refuse to accept the Christian faith, to leave them to their destruction, Islam teaches to destroy them, no these have very little in common

True religious dialogue between Muslims and Christians (as well as with other religions for that matter) must proceed from the premise that all religions have equal validity before God.
Unless the leaders of the Christian and Muslim religions accept this premise, there can be no real dialogue between them.

You are missing the main conflicting truth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is God who came to the earth in the flesh to die and be the ultimate sacrifice for the sin of mankind. Through Jesus Christ is the only atonement for sin.

Jesus is not a religion. He is the personal relationship between God and man that mankind lost because of the disobedience of Adam. Jesus is the way back to that relationship. JESUS IS "THE WAY". The only way. Your religion is a lie........

Christians don't just follow the teachings of Jesus. We follow and love the man, Jesus.

"...CHRIST JESUS...being in the FORM OF GOD, thought it not robbery to be EQUAL WITH GOD: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."
--Philippians 2:5-8

"... feed the church of GOD, which he hath purchased with his OWN BLOOD."
--Acts 20:28

"Hereby perceive we the love of GOD, because he LAID DOWN HIS LIFE for us...
--1 John 3:16

Galatians 1:6-11. In Paul's letter to the churches in Galatia he states;
" I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!

Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of God.

I want you to know, brothers that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ. "

I believe that the problem lies in which is the greater truth. Truth is truth whether it was voiced by Jesus or by Muhammad. Both were children of God as we all are. The sooner the world realizes this truth then the sooner the religious conflicts will end. I hope and pray the world will not destroy itself before this truth is realized and embraced.

I don't think most Islamic and Christian people will ever get along until they let the "who is right" question take the back burner to "how can we stop our extremists from doing stupid things in our names". Any discussion that contains the word TRUTH (especially caps-locked TRUTH) usually isn't going anywhere good.

If you really want peace and tolerance, it starts with "maybe I'm wrong".

Thanks for letting people know there is a place they can go and understand each others view points of religion that they have in common. I would like to note, that you don't have to put Allah in () because Allah means God in Arabic. When you put God (Allah) then you are still showing a separation between faiths.

There is plenty of dialogue between Christians and Muslims but absolutely agreement on the Christian view that Christ is God, and there never will be. And because of that there is no fellowship between them.

All the major religions of this world, believe in the concept of One Single God. And it will be a very good idea that all of us come to a common platform, as the Quran says

"come to commom terms as between us and you, the first term, worship non but one God"

Leave the differences behind, and the world will be united, Peace will be restored to this world, and walls of prejudice will gradually fade off

What I know is that when you point out uncomfortable facts like the fact that Mohammed was a thief, a murderer, a liar, a rapist and pedophile or that the Koran commands Muslims to dominate the world, you usually get reported to Yahoo! Answers for violating the code of conduct.

And no, I'm not a Christian or a Jew.
