Living in NY was Burnt by my ex and teacher...I am so afraid to trust again, but crave knowlege and the inner peace of it all. Any ideas where I can turn to start over with Majic Teachings.

I know many people will post witchvox.com, but they have a sevtion where you can find people of like mind in your area.
Have you thought about being solitary? Many Wiccans do this including myself. Ilive in the buckle of the bible belt and it is hard to find pagans due to being forced underground here.
Search the internet for public events in your area.

Do you have a friend or relative that you can explore together? You can start researching on your own and adding to your own Book of Shadows with your own notes and thoughts. Take some time on your own to read and learn. Take some public classes about Wicca, palm reading, or even belly dance! If you do find a new teacher, take a friend with you to check out and see if everything is safe and trustworthy.
