My theodicy "the problem of evil" is doing just fine. I know who God is and since He gave His creatures free will, they may choose and do choose to do wrong. God, gave mankind a free will, so that when we choose God it is out of love that we choose him.
I believe that Satan was created perfect, dwelt in a perfect system, but due to his pride he fell. and as he fell from his position he took a third of the angels with him that were under his command. These left, yet God chained up a no. of them, which he lets loose in the Great Tribulation. 200 million with Apollyon or the destroyer as their captain
