I think the whole world has gone mad, we celebrate the rich and famous but lets face it, like you say, what the hell have they done for the world.. they haven't put their lives on the line or risked it all to give the youth of their day a better future with better prospects.. this is why the youth of today are mostly made up of little boys and girls that want to grow up and aspire to be like the great( i say this with tongue in cheek)Mrs Beckham, we have a culture of asbo, hoodies and i want i want little brats roaming the country it frightens the hell out of me!!!! And to be quite frank the so called stars of today are either drug taking, alcohol swilling or law breaking,it is no sort of role model i want my children to aspire to that's for sure no matter how much money there is in it, a majority of them have mental problems, eating problems and/or behaviour problems to me it isn't what a role model should be like children and young adults are too easily influenced by this type of person it is a great shame , what happened to being an individual with morals and values (apart from monetary ones)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched this too. I almost turned the channel a couple of times as I found it quite hard to believe she has turned out like this. She was never like that when she was a member of the spice girls.
She seems to be like some kind of witch. I could not believe what I was hearing when she was telling her PA that it was good to have a 'fat friend' !. I used to feel sorry for her because I thought people just misunderstood her - now I just feel sorry for her.
It was almost a relief when the programme finished because then I felt grateful that I am quite normal, if not boring, but after watching that I am quite happy to stay that way.

Posh is a fake. She likes everyone to think shes so god-given but shes a normal person who I am glad to get rid of from england. She looks rediculous and Jordans son Harvey has a better pout than her. Certainly not a more ridiculous one. She thinks shes been through so much when she doesnt even know what hard work is. If i was her Id be ashamed.

I think that for everyone who thinks the Beckhams are some kind of idols, there are plenty who see them for what they are: that is (in my opinion anyway) a vastly overpaid footballer and a former member of a pop group who have more money than sense and are far too focused on looks, wealth and status.
I don't consider myself good looking, nor do I have much wealth - but I wouldn't want to be Victoria Beckham.

It's sad but true that celebrity is revered more than any other human value now. In a recent poll, the majority of respondents said the acquisition of fame and money was the main aim in life. It says much that two people of such marginal talent can dominate the world'.s media to such a degree, and sadly other talentless people will seek to emulate them as shortcut to success.

I'm not defending them, but the show was a wind up. It clearly said at the start that scenes were dramatized and the part of her assistant was played by an actor. She's supposedly sending herself up I think - although what the point of it was I don't know

You feel sorry for her really... she's just desperate. Its odd that these shows are coming on about old famous people, like Jade Goody had her show about a salon, and Jordan had her show about a baby, and now Victoria has one about LA... I haven't watched any of them but they are constantly being advertised and it makes you dislike those daft old celebrities even more!

That's what you get for watching it. I didn't even want to waste my time after viewing the promo. What good work have they done? WHy don't we hear more about that??? Instead of them showing us her new neighbors.......food for thought.
