Do you happen to know why there is usually such a disparity between the Senior Pastor's and the Associate Pastor's salary?

It's been my experience that this difference is usually at least 50% but sometimes it's hundreds of percent more.

Any reason that this should be -- assuming, of course, that the workload is approximately the same?

Lets just assume you know less than 50%, which I believe in reality is more like a billionth fraction of a percentage point, of everything there is to know in this universe and beyond. How could you then adamantly claim that there is no God when you can only occupy at best such an infinitely small time, space and knowledge?

Well I've known that I'm a lesbian since I was 11. What I'm afraid of is that this might be all a phase, like some of you say. I really don't want it to be, because I'm actually enjoying being a lesbian. For some reason guys are just not attractive to me. I don't even want them to be. I want to stay like this forever. Nothing is going to change, right?
I'm VERY happy the way I am.
11 is kind of young to realize who you are though, right?

A lot of times I joke with my close friends about things you can't talk about in public. You know, the type of convos where nothing is off limits. And I'm almost positive other people (most people) do it too. And I get to thinking we all do this sort of thing talk in our own circles but we never say them in public. I imagine everyone reading this knows what I mean, even if they won't admit it. And I can't even name some of the topics I mean because people would "act" all offended when they know the truth- that they talk about these things in private too. It's just politially incorrect to say them in public. My question is, anyone know exactly what I'm talking abou? And why is it we can't talk about this "stuff" in public if we all know deep down we all do it?

christians say god brings happiness and joy to their lives...so me being a bit more materialistic than they are, i compare that to me winning 10000000 millions in the lottery and thousands of people coming to me and telling me that the money i have won is false when i am at the car shop deciding wheteher to have my Rolls Royce painted blue or black...
So if god brings you so much happiness and it is true for you why getting ofeended by people trying to invalidate that??
i wouldnt care at all if 200000 people told me that the billions i have won are unreal or fairy tales i would just enjoy them...

Despite America claiming to be a Christian country they still defy Christs' teaching that an "eye for an eye" is wrong.Also since the introduction of DNA testing many executions were exposed as just plain wrong--innocent people were murdered by the state--& no-one is taking the blame.When will this barbarous act be abolished??

I have just been here relaxing and answering questions. And I can't help but notice that so many white people are so obsessive over Blacks...why? These people obviously don't realize the significance of this statement. All of modern biology and genetics is based on the theory of evolution. If we can't teach evolution then we cant teach biology or genetics. But creationism deals with far more than the Theory of Evolution. Creationism also deals with the age of the Earth, the creation of our universe, as well as many other aspects of science. If Creationism is right, then all of physics, astronomy, cosmology, geology, chemistry, biology, genetics, just about all of science is wrong. If creationism is right, then everything that we have learned in science in the last 2000 years is totally wrong. Do you people really want to ruin science and replace science with Bible study?????

Why do they have so many misconceptions.

They think so many untruths about Catholics, they think they pray to mary etc, and yet dont realise that they only have their understanding because of catholics.

Further why does it bother them, they are not really serious in trying to "convert" people

i know this sounds weird but i love the water. i love swimming even though i cant swim and almost drowned twice, and i like the sound of when its raining and you can hear the water dripping. i can even go to sleep w/ the water sound. again, i know its weird but its been bothering me for a while.
