christians say god brings happiness and joy to their lives...so me being a bit more materialistic than they are, i compare that to me winning 10000000 millions in the lottery and thousands of people coming to me and telling me that the money i have won is false when i am at the car shop deciding wheteher to have my Rolls Royce painted blue or black...
So if god brings you so much happiness and it is true for you why getting ofeended by people trying to invalidate that??
i wouldnt care at all if 200000 people told me that the billions i have won are unreal or fairy tales i would just enjoy them...

Many of us are not offended by the questioning of our beliefs. WE have questioned our beliefs and gone through struggles ourselves. We are offended by1) the way we are asked a question2) the arogance of the way the question is posed.3) the mere dismissal of any disagreement the questioner has with the Christian. 4) The complete disrespect many questioners have for the Christion ( i.e. an 11 year old girl as a question about God and was inundated by negative ,mocking responses from those who consider them to be intellectually and morally superior to the Christian. Does this give you an idea of why some of us get offended. Let me give you another example I was just told that I was not capable of debate a certain atheist onhere ( he did not accept my challenge to do so. ) many of us are more thatn willing to discuss our beliefs and why we hold them. Many of us believe that we are capable of giving validating arguments for our beliefs and although we may not change the minds of many except the open minded we believe we can give a good rational argument. However we are seldom allowed to by otrhers who act as junior high bullies claiming their mental superiority.

Because unlike the world who would choose to sit home & enjoy their material things while the rest of the world suffers Christians are called to go into all the world & teach the gospel. We are called to share the gift that means more than all the money in the world & that is the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ which gives eternal life. You can't take all your money or material things with you to eternity. It's sad to us & hurtful when people attack us for trying to save their lives. We WILL enjoy our eternal life & the treasures we have stored up in heaven when we get there but we have a responsibility RIGHT NOW to try to help others get there too.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith enables us to receive healing and all of the other promises that God has made. If you are constantly bombarded with words of doubt, then it waters down the promises to the point where it is hard to receive them.
It is not a matter of being angry at a person, it is being angry wanting to stand for a purpose and always being cut down for it.

There was a religion before Christ, The people read the book and was never to fully discuss it.. because the real secret was between just them and God,, So you just looked real siren and full of bliss. and the biggest liar won.
That's why they get mad, you are calling them out.
Have them show you in the bible it gives you earthly happiness.. only Job in the bible only Job.
Jesus cried, tortured died and rose
Apostles persecuted, tortured..
Jesus warned them in cost of Discipleship.
Who are these Cristian's that say they follow Jesus and find earthly happiness are these God sees as better then His own Son..Bring these anti-Christ to my web site..

I can't take it with me, and material possessions do not define who I am as a person, or measure my happiness. How does anything in this particular question in any way contradict my beliefs?
