Funny question! I am a blend-inner. I'd much rather watch and observe quietly. I think we can learn as much that way as we can by talking to people sometimes, plus I have never liked being the center of attention. I'm the geeky observant analytical one in the corner of the room - most likely studying your behavior!

My nature is to blend in, but I seem to stand out at times no matter what. Part of it is perception of my race; I am multiracial, and people can target me based on what they think they see in me. Other times, it's because of my height.
When I do speak my mind, it is rarely a topic I open myself, but a response to what someone else has said. It's amazing how a quietly worded disagreement or question can inflame people. I suppose many people are really threatened by different opinions.
In large urban areas, I tend to blend in more, since there tends to be more diversity. Here in the South, I garner attention a lot more, usually in uncomfortable ways.

That really depends on how i feel at the moment.
I have always looked at many sides of an opinion or question.
i do both sometimes i observe and watch and then switch over 2 become the entertainer or the person talking.

If I'm with strangers at a party, I'd be very quiet...on the shy side.
HOWEVER if I'm with a group of friends, I probably tend to stand out cause I just enjoy my friends and making them laugh!
