The Bible does not specifically say anything about child abuse. I am not aware of a single instance in the Bible where a child is being abused. What the Bible does tell us is this: Children have a special place in God’s heart and anyone who harms a child is inviting God’s wrath upon Him. Jesus welcomed little children to His side (Mark 10:14). Jesus had harsh words for anyone who would cause a child to stumble, “But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” The Bible tells parents to be gentle and loving with their children (Ephesians 6:4; Colossians 3:21). So, even though the Bible does not specifically mention child abuse – it is abundantly clear how God feels about the issue.

Look in Ephesians 6:4, God warns the fathers there not to provoke their children to wrath, it means to make them angry ,to mistreat them by doing things and saying things ,that are not appropriate.
Matthew 18:6
Mark 9:42
Luke 17:2
You are fighting this in the spirit realm, and that is the right way to do it.God can do anything ,but fail, pray for them and God will protect those children . Some people here really don't know what they are talking about .

There is nothing wrong with disciple as long as it is not overdone, nor the child overly provoked to anger:
Pr 13:24 - He who withholds his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him diligently.
Pr 22:15 - Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of discipline will remove it far from him.
Pr 23:13 - Do not hold back discipline from the child, Although you strike him with the rod, he will not die.
Pr 29:15 - The rod and reproof give wisdom, But a child who gets his own way brings shame to his mother.

You have to read before and after that verse so that you can understand what they are talking about ~ Its to east to take a verse and read it out ~ Folks want believe what your saying when you talk to them ~ Even if your right ~ It always takes more than a verse ~
Its like saying the Word of God says we are not to judge other yet the Word says we are to Judge others ~ But hats its talking about is there action and not their souls ~ They sould belong to God but they action speak largely about what kind of person they are and if we want to hang out with them ~

Jesus said, in Mark 9:42 (NKJV)
"But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea."

according to the bible, spare the rod, spoil the child. On the other hand, this book also treats women as property, approves of slavery, and supports polygamy.
Call CPS, it will work a lot better.
