If I am to avoid sinning, I must abide by all his rules, without question, without doubt, without even thinking about it ... just obey.

When I get to heaven, I am to be re-programmed so that all the sadness I've picked up in life will be wiped clean and new software downloaded.

Without my pain, I won't even be me anymore (anyone recall that line of Kirk's from the Star Trek movie where they find "god"?).

And like robots, if we go berserk god feels no pity at wiping us all out (Gen. 6-7). Even baby robots.

If I use my brain, think and challenge god to explain himself, I'm a bad robot.

Bad robots go to the recycling centre (aka the Lake of Fire).

While God may not want to be worshipped by robots, it seems he wants people to act like robots.

Why is that?

Wow, I think people are blinded by your term "robot." Exchange that with any other being or creation that follows without thinking, his/her supreme ruler and it's the same basic idea.

I think you make an excellent analogy. It doesn't make sense that god would want his/her followers to be mindless and uncritical--that stifles self-fulfillment and knowledge.

Study the Bible it tells us that it is absolutely impossible to not sin but through accepting the atonement God provided by paying the penalty of death for you. Those are by faith made new. The fact is there are two choices and only one truth.
You could choose to believe the truth or accept the lie.
To be made new in God's righteousness is to be in your idea robot like but is a free will choice as these have already agreed with the truth. Robots can not be good or bad who do not have free will they do as they are designed to do and without free will that would be to agree automatically with God's righteousness. we are not robots and do have free will and some will accept the truth and some will reject this truth.
the problem with rejecting the truth it is rejecting the salvation that comes from the truth.

The Bible never says to obey without question or without doubt. In fact, there is a lot of Biblical evidence that reiterates the fact that God create us as thinking beings, not the be lead like sheep to the slaughter, but to reason and then decide.

Yes, the Bible says that there will be no tears in Heaven and no pain...does that mean the memory of our lives here will be erased? I don't know. I certainly hope not.

God's smarter than us. He's seen all the movies we've made about robots taking over the world. He's got to know that whatever you "program" is likely to backfire and take over in the end.

Mohommed truthfully denouced all scripture with regards to them as "The Satanic Verses" and suggested such ideals had no place in a monotheistic relgion. anyhow, directly to answering the question. remember, I talk of the wider Christian attitude, and not the definitely faith itself which preaches tolerance of others... Christianity has in no way enjoyed different religions. to comprise Judaism. every physique keep in mind the Inquisition? Or the certainty that Pope John Paul II admitted that the church bore some accountability for the holocaust by using fact of it particularly is intolerence of Jews? Ever heard the age previous tale that we use the blood of a christian harmless to make our passover matzah? Christians want to piggy backtrack of our faith so as that they have got a love hate relationship with us, yet popular can not denounce us by using fact they did borrow our God and not any different way around. The right now out hate for Muslims comes from the certainty that whilst Jews in simple terms might desire to get with this technique, Islam grow to be formed after the loss of life and hoopla of Jesus. we don't want to grandfather clause him in, yet they outright rejected him. Oh, that and Christians look an intollerant lot because it particularly is (lots to Jesus's chagrin, i'm particular).

Robots?! I have feelings and LOVE HIM WITH ALL OF MY BEING. I don't think robots know about worship.

The one thing you must realize is - everybody worships. Unbelievers worship - themselves, money, sex, etc.

We worship our Lord and Savior.

For what reason sir, should you be let into heaven? You have rejected Him it seems. Unless you are born again you shall not see the kingdom of God. John 3:3

You premises are not true. You are building a straw man and knocking him down

We are given a conscience and a mind to discover truth and how to be just. This makes us created with a higher mind to realize our actions will bring consequences. We can make robots to do other stuff, though...like housekeeping (I wish).

Our mind and our life is a miracle to be admired...believer or not.

This is the weirdest thing I've ever read. This may surprise you, but God actually does want us to think about and question our faith. It shows that we actually believe and aren't just blindly going through the motions, and it also reinforces our faith. I think you're just trying to make people mad.

God gave you the creativity, insight, logical mind, analytical skill, and sanguinity to be able to write what you write.

What makes you think that by your own will you can not stop opposing him?

You are reaching. I don't know how you would program a robot to "love one another" -John 15:12.
You'd have to be a twisted robot.
