Noah and the flood.
Killed almost every living thing on the planet
Sodom & Gomorrah
Destroyed the cities
Egypt (the 7 plagues)
Hows that for a violent mythology? It seems to me that the Old Testament describes a rather immature God, and the New Testament tries to pretend that God is more loving, but it doesn't really give any evidence, because the theology is still vengeful.
I would no more turn myself over to worship such a God than I would follow the orders of someone like Adolph Hitler.

The most obvious example is what is going to happen to people on judgment day who have refused to repent of sin and accept Jesus Christ as savior. The bible tells us, in very plain language, that they will be cast into the lake of fire. The book of Revelation contains all the judgment of God to come on the Christ-rejecting world....and it isn't pretty.

Actually the Law of Moses states, "not hate your brother in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt.’Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD." Leviticus 19:17,18
So rebuking your neighbor for sin is part of loving them, according to the Bible.

No.
God never did anything; gods don't exist.
Plenty of humans murdered in the name of their god, though, in the bible and throughout history.
