What were you, your soul, & your spirit before you were born?

Question

If the soulk is immortal, did it have a life before you were born? There are three life stages that we progress through:
1. Life before life.
2. Earth life.
3. Life after death.
There are some rare incidents where people claim to have been a preview of their coming lives.
What is your opinion on life before life?

I believe life is a form of energy and doesn't cease to exist, it just changes forms. So, yes, I believe I had a life before this one and will continue to live different lives until I reach a point where I have achieved whatever it is I'm to achieve and then I will become one with the universe once again.

If the soul is eternal, and time is nonlinear, then yes, we have all had life before life, and have the ability to recall it.

I choose, however, to live in the present life. Everyone is so eager for the Rapture and what will come, that they are losing the opportunity to think and feel and change and grow in the life they are living now. Same with those who are burdened by their past, chained to memories of actions they cannot forgive. Life before life already was. Life after death will surely come. But this moment? It comes only once in our present consciousness. Make each moment count, so that when this life becomes a past life, you can regress to it and remember it with fondness.

When a person dies they are no longer living. It is in God's hands as to whether that person is then resurrected as a spirit in heaven, or awaits a resurrection back to the coming earthly paradise. (John 5:28, 29)

The soul is not immortal. Rather, the soul is the living, breating person. "The soul [person] that is sinning, it itself will die" (Ezekiel 18:4). If the soul were some immortal entity, it would not be possible for it to die.

The soul is not immortal,the spirit is ,and life begins,when the sperm hits the egg inside of your mother's womb.
But then God says ,He knew us before the earth began.So there might be a little more to it. We don't have all the answers , I think until we die and see God face to face , we won't ever know it all.

Life before life was when we were with God as his spirit children. We didn't know evil and therefore we couldn't progress; we were really stuck being children. Before we were spirits we were intelligences. I try not think about eternity because it confuses me. Those aren't only my opinions of life before life.

Genesis shows the creation of man his flesh and his spirit become a living soul. Our spirit is created it is a part of the whole of who we are. The same as Jesus is a part of the whole of God. Man is created in this image of God.

I think it's a cool concept...like we agreed to or were sent here for a reason, but can't remember anything from before. Maybe we'll know someday.

I was, if you trace it back, a simple protein. I was then divided by meosis..... into many different sex cells. Two of those cells combined..... From thereon I took particles from food.... So i was a lot of things, i guess.
