It is now being claimed that the movie "Evan Almighty" is an insult to Islam. It seems like Islamic scholars are quick to slam anything that insults them just before they hurl all sorts of insults directed towards western sensibilities. Is there ANYTHING in that religion that ISN'T based on hypocrisy?

God gauranteed that covenant without any requirement of tithing.

Tithing is not part of the New Covenant either !

It is based on the blood of Jesus alone.

"For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins - Matt.26:28

The Raglands were the richest English royalty and lived in the largest castle, Raglan Castle, at one time. Please no answers that say it is impossible to trace as I know of others who have traced their bloodlines back to Jesus and Mary Magdeleine.

Due to the overwhelming response and obvious misinterpretation of my query I am impelled to further ellaborate on my conjecture. My question is hypothetical, as we all know Christ is resurrected and lives on earth. This is like one of those computer generated Davinci now or Picasso in the 1500's questions who would have been better if the eras were interchanged. I think that alot of the precious wisdom in our possesion must be made applicable to the technologically advanced age we live in.

Would it be disrespectful, for a guy to drive into a store parking on a hot summer day shirtless. He parks the car or truck puts a shirt on, and then goes in to the store to buy whatever he needs.

Next he walks out of the store and to his truck or car. He gets to his truck or car, and takes his shirt off. After he does that, he drives out of the store parking lot as normal.

It may sound like a pointless question, but I've seen guys do it before. (most guys hate sweating in a shirt) I wonder if it is rude to do it or not. Just wondering.

It's called a cross; it was used to kill A LOT of people.
The Jews have a beautiful star; the Buddhists have a wheel and the Muslims have a crescent moon. But leave it to the Christians to try and say that something they found in a torture chamber is what they want on their gravestones. Sick ... freaks.

I would love to know how to survive on 25k ? it seems my company thinks running an entire warehouse and showroom floor/handy man isnt worth more for one of the largest homegood stores in the country.

I know someone is going to say ,find a new job.I am currently looking but there isnt much out there if you dont know someone.

The other issue is, they posted an internal ad for a warehouse managers job at the hub for our district. I called both district managers and sent them my resume. Two weeks later i find out that they filled the positions, without even interviewing or atleast a phone call back. it atleast would have been nice to be told no you didnt get the job or atleast an interview.

sorry im kinda po'ed since this position payes in excess of 55k a year. I was even given a reccomendation from an old boss that works for the same company a few weeks prior.

How does one survive and support a family of three when corporate america has a strangle hold on you?

okay so I went to Jamaica back in 1997 to visit my fam ,and i saw the strangest thing, see the black women (like bob marley's mother) of jamaica who live near docks where foreign ships come in tend to give their bodies to foreign (white) men in trade for goods so theres like villages if you will of black DAAAAAAAARskined black women with these mixed babies, anyway i remember even though its been 10 yrs, seeing this dark black woman with three kids, and ALL of them were fair skinned with blonde hair and i was 8 yrs old and to me that was unheard of i new it could happen if the mom was white but black women too? im still convince these babies were switched in the hospital or something lol. so my question is have any of you seen this before? i dont date white men but golly. thats interesting to see. also what are some of the strangest mixes you've seen?

I am not trying to attack the church. I'm starting RCIA classes in a few weeks, and am still struggling with the whole "authority of the church" thing.
From research I've done, it appears the church claims to have authority granted from God, even the authority to forgive sins. Essentially they're saying "we're always right". Yet they've been on the wrong side of many things throughout history. I just heard this morning about how they backed the Fascists in the Spanish Civil War.
So, it's hard for me to believe in this authority of the church now, when doing so in the past would have meant I was misled.
If the church had some sort of mechanism where the followers could believe in the church as a concept, yet still question the men running the church, I think I could be on board.
