are there any spells or sayings that you can do to get someone to change or do what you want them to do?

Yes. Magick is through the mind, it is of ones own will. There are many spells to do just as you ask. Before you perform a spell though, you must have some knowledge of witchcraft. Study first, bringing out the wrong god/goddesses, or spirit to help you, may only cause you trouble. Most witches have their own ways, and plan their own spells. You are not being very specific in your question of what exactly you want them to do. Do you want them to love you, then call on Aphodite, just remember though, when you cast a spell, be prepared, and make sure this is what you want, you may be stuck with it for all your life!

Actually, I've done a lot of reading and research on the subject. As near as I can tell, there is no such thing as a spell that will work reliably and predictably. Also, there is no such thing as a spell that can be PROVEN to have worked.

If a spell could produce reliably reproducible and testable results, it wouldn't actually be magic, it would be science that didn't yet have a explanatory theory. Reliably reproducible and testable results are basically the definition of scientific phenomenon.

Basically Quantum Entanglement is A LOT like magic. It causes subatomic particles to affect each other at a distance without any sort of mechanism that has yet been detected by scientific means. However, it is still considered scientific and not magical because it is testable and reproducible.

If you want to have the best chance of using magic to cause some sort of effect, I would suggest you research a type of magic called Chaos Magic. To get it to work, you need to get yourself into a trance-like state that is sometimes referred to as a "gnosis state".

With Chaos Magic, (or any sort of magic), you won't see any immediate or visible results. You won't be able to make things levitate or burst into flame or anything like that. However, it does seem to produce results more successfully than simply repeating a rhyming charm three times, or lighting specially colored candles.

In fact, if you do some research on most types of other sorts of magic, such as witchcraft, shamanism, or mysticism, you will find hints that this trance-state is actually something that is sort of at the basis of the magic. However, Chaos magic tends to state this most clearly.

Chaos magic is a relatively modern magical technique that was sort of "distilled" from older magical practices. It was an attempt to narrow magical practices down to their most basic and fundamental operational level. It pretty much evolved out the Ceremonial Magic practiced by groups like the Golden Dawn and Aleister Crowley's Thelema. (Those groups, in turn, developed their techniques based on Egyptian and Kabalistic practices).

I strongly suspect that the myths and legends about people casting spells that had immediate, visible affects was largely due to the use of poisons, drugs, and sometimes trickery.

Back in the middle ages, when a lot of the peasantry didn't have any sort of education, it would have been hard to tell if someone had died from poison, as opposed to a supposed curse someone had cast at them. Likewise, a lot of the wilder things described could easily be attributed to someone getting a dose of some sort of hallucinogenic substance, (such as an extract from ergot), without them realizing it.
Take note of the old stories of witches using toadstools in their potions.

Here are a couple things that might help.

SLAVE MAKER POTION
10ml unscented body lotion 2 drops lemon
1 drop geranium 1 drop sandalwood 20 drops of pre-diluted rose oil
Blend well and massage into your hands.
Now, if you shake somebody's hand they'll do anything for you

DO MY BIDDING!
Take three pieces of ribbon, thread, or yarn - one red, one yellow, and one
black Take them up. Tie in each one three knots, repeating the name of the one you wish to
do your bidding as you tie each one. Then bind all three pieces together and carry them or wear
them on your person. The person you have bound in this manner will not be able to resist your
wishes or commands. Add to your daily bath a spoonful or two of High John Conquering or
Success Bath, and see what a difference there will be in your life in just five to seven days!
After the bath, rub some Controlling Powder on the arms and around the shoulders. If there is a
certain person you wish to dominate, the puppet spell has many advantages.
Choose a Thursday when the moon is waxing, and at 8:00 AM, 3:00 PM, or 10:00 PM,
and only after securing your privacy so that no one will see or hear you, take an image
and label it with the name of the person you wish to sway to your will.
You can use a doll, a photograph, or even a blank piece of paper cut to resemble a human figure,.
If you have a possession of the person you are attempting to influence, so much the better -attach
hair snips with glue, rub in nail clippings, tie or sew on a sock, handkerchief, or anything belonging
to the one for whom the image is made.
Hold the doll or image in your two hands in front of you, concentrate on the person involved,
and chant, at least seven times -
"Damballah, may I (mention your own name)
come out victorious in my dealing with (mention the person's name)."
Work with the doll each day at the same hour for nine days.
After the image is named and tagged, this should never change.
No doll should be used for more than one person.
If you wish to influence several persons, use a different doll for each one.
Dark Blessings.

Of course, spells are just prayers with the added support of the 5 elements powers. Try it you will see how well they all work when coupled with Nature's powers.

You can not change someone with a spell only because they have free will, but coupled with teaching it can add to the witnessing you seem to want to do.

No no no!! That is against the Wiccan Rede. (assuming you are talking Wicca here). You cannot do spells that manipulate someone. And also, keep in mind, the Three Fold Law. That's a huge no-no.

Most witches believe that you should not mess with anothers freewill. To do a spell like you are asking for is going against the "harm none" basis of the belief.

No.

Spells are meant to be used to provide self-fulfillment, not manipulation. You can use all the spells you want, but it will not give you what you want if you don't work hard at getting it.

Have you tried asking them nicely to do something?

2007-07-13 10:52:37 · answer #7 · answered by Anonymous · 1 2

No. Since many of us magick users believe that to force someone to do something that they don't choose do is wrong we wouldn't have any spells for that!

If you need to change a person to remain with them, then your best bet is to leave them to their own devices. Whether you work with them or you are in a relationship with them you have no moral rights to do anything to them.

Sorry.

In spell work you can not cast a spell to MAKE anybody do what they don't want to....you can cast spells to have them see and if they want to make the change they will...

Spells and incantations are merely manifestations of positive thought, and are for self-improvement and self-edification.

To use one either FOR or AGAINST another person without permission is negative thinking and, unchecked, may lead to self-destruction.
