Well, it would really not matter I think. No scientific proof has surfaced that shows the existence of a God. And the studies on prayer have shown either inconclusive and the most credible one recently that it had a derogatory effect. However people continue to believe.

Remember that most have heard the preachings of Christianity from the time they were very small. Some every week for all of their lives. It is the same for most religions. In other words you become brainwashed. And people cannot bear to think that there is nothing after they die. So they will hold on to these beliefs despite all evidence to the contrary.

So my answer, is, there are some out there who would try to kill you. And yes, some would burn the evidence. But most would continue believing no matter what. They can't help it. They would have to be deprogramed some way.

"Having proof that chistianity is false" is just like saying "I can draw a square circle". It's a meaningless statement. Chrsitianity is a religion. It exists, the same way your computer does. Your computer cannot be "false".

So, if you said that, the world would probably giggle when you presented this evidence.

All joking aside, if you told me that you were planning on going out and smahing up a bunch of people's beliefs that generally keep them in a law abiding state and has been shown to help people live longer through hope, despite not having any scientific merit, then you bet your life I would.

Consider that whether religion is based on scientific fact or fiction is irrelevant when you consider the overall good that it does (regardless of the religion). While there are extremists, like Al Qaeda, the KKK, and whoever else, generally, religion is a good thing.

uh

well i know you said not to, but first of all that isn't going to happen
=D

And secondly, what kind of christian would kill you and burn the evidence? First of all, murder is a sin. Secondly, a christian is a sane (not saying other religons aren't, just describing what christians are), good (in nature, not the forced acting kind), person who would admit that God doesn't exist if there was good, solid evidence that would be strong enough to break the faith of a chrsitian

If you had proof that Christianity was false, you wouldn't be trying so desperately hard to convince everyone else of this nonsense. You would just present your proof, which doesn't exist. I noticed that you have a history of asking disrepecful questions with respect to Christianity which indicates three things to me: One, you have ulterior motives and an agenda. Two, you are not educated about what you are saying and haven't done thorough research or you would have this so-called proof already but it doesn't exist. Three, you must be pretty lonely, isolated, and empty inside. Therefore, since your questions are an offense and violation of the Yahoo! Answers community rules, I predict that you will be around here a lot less longer than Christianity which has prevailed from the beginning.

No I wouldn't. Christians are not allowed to kill. Nor would I want to stop you. My faith is based on a personal relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit. That will always be real to me.

No.

I have a very plausable way to prove or disprove the Koran, the Torah and the New Testament all at once. To effect the event could start a major war that would kill untold numbers of people. Should I do it? This is not hypothetical?

No, I don't believe in killing. I would go on about my business and know that my God is who He says He is no matter what man may say. Religion is one thing, but I, on the other hand have a relationship... Christianity is a lifestye (should be) so...this question doesn't really make sense..but either way, God is infallable, man on the other hand is full of inconsistancies...
:-)

If I could prove to you God exsists what would you do? probably go on about your business...human nature is to go with what suits you. Simple as that.

I think there would be some fanatics that would have you killed.

mcclean there is not only biblical evidence of the exodus but thanks to some late archeology there is historical proof now not from 1 or 2 but 3 different cultures that tell of a great multitude coming from Egypt. And that is just one of the stories you think that is not true being backed up by science.

If you had that proof, I would feel for you, since your life would be over very quickly. The leaders of Christianity would murder you and your family and your friends and destroy the evidence in order to keep this cash cow going. Religion is the biggest business on the planet and the heads of the churches live in a very, very nice lifestyle, which would suddenly end. Your life would not be worth anything to them. But if you have that information, I realize that you do not, I would love to have it, since I would give up my life to destroy the church and rid the world of that yoke of mental slavery to it.

No- I would not kill you- my faith in God is stronger than any "man" produced proof- man errs- God does not-
You are my brother- I may not like what you'd be doing- but I do have to love you as a human being- you have the right to free will also-
