I'm curious if you've ever prayed directly to God or Jesus. I'm not talking about praying to Jesus THROUGH anyone else. I'm talking about praying and talking one on one to Jesus. Have you ever done it-in spite of what your church teaches you?

I don't want to hear about Mary or saints. I'm talking strictly about Jesus and God and your prayers. Thanks.

Matthew: 26:26 “This is My Body.” 26:27 “This is My Blood…”

Mark: 14:22 “This is My Body.” 14:24 “This is My Blood…”

Luke: 22:19 “This is My Body.” 22:20 “This … is the New Covenant in My Blood.”

Jesus said: THIS IS. No Bible-believing Christian can say, “This is not.”

In 1 Cor. 11:23-27 St. Paul repeats the same words - WHY"?:, and he also warns us : "Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord." - IS THIS REASONABLE IF IT IS JUST A PIECE OF BREAD?:

Jn 6:53 “Unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of man and drink His Blood, you have no life in you; he who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life,”

It seems that there were protestants at that time also, who were the ones saying “How can this man give us his Flesh to eat?” (Jn 6:52) , and “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?”(Jn 6:60)

I can't understand what he is saying, but I am too polite to tell him I can't understand him because of his accent. I know he's asking me a question, but I don't want to say yes to anything that I don't understand. Please answer quickly, I think he is getting impatient with me.

I believe in a "Higher Power" and don't subscribe to any religion. I believe that life is about embracing diversity and cultivating tolerance. I believe that human life is invaluable and must be protected. I find guidance from the natural world.

What is your Path?

So, my friends mom died like 4-5 years ago. And then his best friend died 2 years ago. He has a very hard time accepting it, and blames himself and God for it. Before his mom died, he went to church and knew the bible from front to back. Now he doesn't even read it. He also never like to talk about how he feels. What are some passages i should have him read in the bible?? Thanks

First, what is the definition of a theory: "explanation of a problem based upon observations and experiments". Since no one has ever observed evolution, and evolution can't be tested, by definition, it isn't a theory. Rather, it's an unproven and unprovable hypothesis. Therefore, to be believed, evolution has to be accepted by faith.

There's nothing wrong with faith, I have a faith. My faith says that God created man in His image. Man is not related to monkeys, but is a created being.

Look at the dumb things that Atheists believe. From a single cell, all life came. Conclusion, man is not only related to monkeys...............man is related to bananas!!!! This is what evolution teaches.

Who agrees with me, that this is a dumb theory?

What if God saw how humans were taking over the world while poor children starve in Africa and other poor Nations. So as a solution he made more and more Gay people because they can't have children together and must adopt them. So gay people are really God's Gift to try and stop unsafe population growth

When you are in a public restroom (or at a party, or anything of the sort,) and you are wearing a belt, is "bad" to buckle your belt when you are out of the stall? Should you always buckle your belt before you leave? Give any exceptions you can think of at the moment, too, please.

P.S - This obviously doesn't apply to urinal use, that is of another question.
