I'm going to answer this one for Katie.
She' would say that it is very lucky that, each day on our travels, she finds a 'lucky' penny! Each day we enjoy our time together, and something wonderful and different happens each day. To her, luck is a perpetual happening.

To me, it's more like good fate occurring. It feels like 'luck', but it is my reality, and I choose to have it blessed with good fortune. I see it in all the people we meet, and I don't doubt that others see it in us. ... but it was luck meeting you!

I believe that the universe today exists as the most recent link in an extremely complicated series of causes and effects that we have only been able to see the most bare of. Therefore, any "luck" is caused by previous events that, as well as causing your fortune, have caused all else that exists. Including, of course, this answer.

Luck exists (I believe) as a sort of way to describe the fact that the chain of cause and effect has resulted in
1. The situation being fortunate for you and
2. The fact that you consider the situation fortunate.

Not as an actual thing. It's just a term I use to describe certain conditions I am experiencing when the circumstances aren't in my control.

Negative = Bad luck
Positive = Good luck

i don't think i really do, but i buy all these chinese talismens and charms and such. i think that's just cultural though.
i think i DO believe in luck actually. i used to have great luck, i won the cake raffle EVERY WEEK! For years. The one drawing the names didn't want me to win, she gave me the worst cakes. I just ran out of some of the 'small' luck recently. Need it back.

No. What we call luck is simply the providence of God. He determines the good things that come our way. Any blessings we receive are a gift from Him.

NO, but I do believe that everything happens for a reason, and that usually these spirits are around us all the time and some do things for us but cannot infringe on our free will. They give us dreams as well, they are sent from above.
