Personally, I’d love to learn to be a good cook but I seem to be lacking the copious amounts of free time that I think it would require.

But hey I’m dynamite with a menu and cash. I’ve also figured out the buttons on the microwave.

I don't mean this in any type of derragtory way, but I was in the food court of a mall and I asked one of the custodians where I could find the closests ATM. She was of spanish descent and told me that she didn't speak english. It caught me by surprise because she is an American citizen who pays taxes by having a job here, but she was able to obtain employment without learning english. Everywhere I go now there are english instructions and spanish instructions, but living in America where all races, ethnicities and backgrounds are welcomed why is there such a strain for other immigrants to learn english and not Spanish Americans? Again I don't mean for this to offend any one I just want answers.

I read in the Torah and Koran and in the old testament about pork(pig)(animal with forkcloves) What is so wrong in eating pork? Is it healthier or what? For some strange reason my son has stop eating pork because he felt that he should but he does not know why. Is there a reason that you will not eat pork? Any information is helpful

Is it not bizarre that Pope Benedict thinks that Roman Catholics, including Paris Hilton, may flock to Church in greater numbers out of some bizarre romanticism regarding the Latin Mass? Is Pope Benedict an insane former Nazi?

I'm Christian (but not Catholic) and have been to several Catholic services lately -- at different churches. I am curious as to why the Catholics have altered the Lord's Prayer.

Each time, the Catholic priest and congregation have ended the Lord's Prayer at, "But deliver us from evil. Amen."

Why do you drop off the last line, "For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen." ?

I manage my grandfathers resturant. We do a takeout a service and sometimes I fill in on that end as the cashier. When customers come in they tell me the same jokes over and over again. When I dont laugh they catch an attitude. I am not a fake person so if I laugh at something that I dont think is funny you will be able to tell because I am not very good at it. Why do they get mad? I mean I understand that we need to treat everyone with respect but is it disrespectful to simply not laugh at a joke?

and then saying it is for their god. these people are sick & evil, they make their god look evil, this isn't the 12th century, it is modern times. when will they get it thru their heads that everyone is different, some want religion in their lives, in different forms, and some don't. but they all want to just live their lives in peace! what a boring world it would be if everyone was the same. they should get their fanatical heads out of their asses & wise up to the real world!

Now, Howard U. is blaming black womens' breast cancer on racial discrimination (It brings on stress that results in the cancer). To me, this shows how far people can go in using the race card. On the bright side, I suppose that, as a white male, I'll be able to blame my eventual prostrate cancer on the stress brought on by affirmative action.

she's looking for her policy manual for work because her really good close friend she's known for years, is coming over to pick it up. she can't seem to find it and she's way overreacting!! she's literrally screaming at the top of her lungs, and before she was screaming she was whiiiiiiiiiiiiining wah wah wah seriously she needs to go to a mental institution.

I have a hard time believing that the majority of religious people are the most vocal ones: you know, the ones who don't want science taught in school, who bomb abortion clinics, blow up buildings, go to anti-gay rallies....etc.
The majority of religious people I meet ( in this case Christians) are actually nice, peaceful and somehow don't make religion a central part of their lives. In fact, they rarely want to talk about their religious habits.
However, Dawkins somehow had a bone to pick with those type of religious people, saying that they somehow allow the most fundamentalists ones to define what Christianity/Islam.. etc is.
What are your thoughts?
