when a non muslim kill someone or rape someone you honestly dont hear anyone blaming the other nonmuslims. why muslims?
i just came to a nonmuslim country to study and see my best friend, when this bomb issuse happened my friend was never to see me again. why was i to blame for anothers wrong doing? i also hear bad things about islam.
a woman treated me like a outsider , felt so unwanted and sent me to the back of the line and then say" i'm sorry it's closed now " hello! it's a movie she should of let me go but no, i left so that i would make any problem after the all i'm only 16.
all i'm saying what wrong with everyone?. at least show your better then others by respecting people & yourself .
dont end up looking like a fool by not liking some person different then you.

While watching the city's big fireworks display last night I saw that they had some that exploded into heart & star shapes as well as a ring of one color with a burst of another color in the middle. How exactly does a firework maker actually go about doing that?? I'm extremely curious cause I'm completely baffled at this point!!

The Universalism that I have just started studying is very basic Christianity, except all will be saved, someway, somehow, sometime. It answers all the questions like who will be saved. It also shows the unconditional love of God. I could go further, but won't. Thanks.

I know there are tons of good ideas, but heres the catch, I am looking for something cheap. I am looking to spend around 50 bucks. Its a work event so I really dont feel like going all out and spending a lot of money.

I've never understood why sometimes the letter " I" is read "i", for example in the word "find"
while sometimes it is read like the letter "e" for example in the word "english".. when it must be read like "i" and when like "e"?

I write in an online diary (havent in some while) and today I was looking at some of my old entries. I found one that I wrote 7-31-2005 and realized that the things I wrote about that day are the same things I get annoyed with here. (Way before I ever came here)
So in light of that would it be safe to say that its time to throw in the towel on trying to understand religion or having the religious understand me? That no matter what I say or ask...it really doesnt change anything. It will not change my perception any more that it changes anyone elses?
Im just wondering because many times I have seen people state thier reason for being here was to "educate" yet do you truely feel that you have educated anyone? I used to feel that maybe I could at least give some foundation for understanding...yet I lately I have lost that feeling. And after seeing this old journal entry I truely feel as if I have wasted a lot of time here.
What are your thoughts?

Is it okay, as long as they are not pushing their religion on other people, and not trying to make it a school policy? Even if others would not like to see them praying, would it still be within their rights? Would something similarly hold for homosexual students who want to show some sort of support or unity for each other? For atheist students? It seems to me that students already form so many different types of cliques. Which should be allowed and which prohibited.
