The Universalism that I have just started studying is very basic Christianity, except all will be saved, someway, somehow, sometime. It answers all the questions like who will be saved. It also shows the unconditional love of God. I could go further, but won't. Thanks.

Skalite5. thanks for the response. I'm finding a good number do believe this(in the closet). There are an unbelievable number of verses that definetely teach this. I've been a Christian for 40 years and this is the most excited I've been about my faith for quite a few years. Go to Tentmaker.com for a lot of info.

Well, good for you. Very positive. The rest of your religion would definatly disagree with you, claiming (correctly) that there is not biblical authority to what you say, but yours is much more pleasant.

Greetings Friend,

I agree, but the really cool thing about believing this way is that it doesn't matter what one believes. All religious views and all people are okay and saved. The hard thing about these beliefs is living them. We cannot see everyone saved and guilty at the same time, so we cannot treat them as guilty. If we did, we would not be consistent in our understanding, nor in what we teach others. We must learn to see our Brothers and Sisters as innocent, because they are. Someday you may even go beyond the idea of Universalism and see that no one ever needed to be saved, because God never condemned.

sending love,

I looked at it, but there are two biases against it which would need to be outweighed by massive evidential support.
Firstly, the historical majority view of the Christian church,
and secondly, the-wish fulfillment aspect of it being something that would be pleasing to believe.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the evidence is there. I'm aware of the "universalist" verses but there are too many which maintain quite the opposite.
