Of course! It's one of the best forms of humor. Some of my favorite movies are absurdist comedies, i.e., any of the Monty Python Flying Circus movies; Help and A Hard Day's Night (Beatles); Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, etc. I think if there wasn't any absurdity in the world, it would be a much drabber place than it already is.

In and of itself, is that an absurd question?

But really folks, as a Moon child (Cancer the Crab) we excel in facing and SOLVING problems obliquely.

Absurdity is the acid test by which we identify the edges and limits of reality. Absurdists hang one foot over to the edge and yell out "Does anyone else know just how far down eternity looms?"

As I like to say (coin a phrase):
FRIENDS ARE PEOPLE WHO CAN SPEAK IN METAPHOR.
In fact, a symptom of having nothing in common with someone is that they do not get your humor.

My favorite motion is procession. It makes bicycles stay upright and gyroscopes... um... gyro.

Only for more absurdity... like perpetuating a human life on Earth-style.

Humor, and reductio ad absurdum. That's a pretty good start.
