Can you believe or not believe in something that you don't know?

Christians say that you must accept Jesus Christ as your only savior in order to go to heaven. But Catholics worship Virgin Mary......Virgin Mary is also depicted as an idol in catholic churches, which would go against the bible....because the bible sais that man shall not worship any idol.....and catholics recard virgin mary as a higher being than Jesus. Does this put catholics in hell? They should, if the bible is a reliable source.

My name is Joe and I am a 26 year old American. I have been a devotee of all the Vishnu avatars for years now but recently I am keener towards learning how to perform puja of lord Nrsimha dev. If any one can guide me towards the proper rituals and way of integrating lord Nrsimha into my daily life, I would really be thankful to them and also if anyone can forward me the soft copy of Archana Paddhati.

something else first.....and the last time they did that something first it took over a year? Do you trust them? Or tell them enough is enough? Still be friends but do you keep trusting since they have proven they take FOREVER to get something done that they told you wouldn't take very long. Is that a lie? Or are they just unconcerned with time? (I'm asking this in R&S because most of my friends are here)

i was running at a local track when i was walking back along the path to leave the track i heard something in the woods and when i looked there was this girl peeing on a tree a was shocked for a sec and then sorta walked away faster.my question is i see her every day when i go running and i dont now what i should do.and has this ever happened to anyone before.

S 54 day Novena...do I need to...?
I am thinking of doing the 54 day Novena from tomorrow onwards.

I was thinking if I can do it at home? I should kneel or can I sit cross-legged? Also do I need to placed a crucifix or a picture of My Mother Mary and Her Son, Our Lord?

Most of all, do I need to observe any fast or rules? Especially can my sister do the novena during her monthly cycle?

Please tell me.

I am not yet a Christian...so I don't know many things about the Christian traditions yet..until I join the RCIA next year.

This might cause **** ....but black people wonder why they get followed around in stores...I work as a manager in a retail clothing and accessories store and out of everyone who I knew stole from my store (A LOT!), only one person was white. And I've never experienced shoplifting from any other race. I'm wondering if this is the same in all other parts of the country.

At my university (it's Ivy League) the outgoing ones are LESS attractive than the quiet ones.

A lot of the physically attractive guys are quiet, introverted, and shy.

Ok, my question was deleted, and I think it was due to misunderstanding. I asked, "I'm goin' to hell, who's comin' with me?" It was deleted...I seriously want to know how many people out there are so tired of all these self-righteous rules and BS expectations, that they just don't care anymore what the relgious community thinks? All thoughts on god/existance aside, where are the rebels without a cause at? So again, I ask...I'm goin' to hell...who's comin' with me?
