Actually, you probably believe in things you don't know all the time without even realizing it. Every time you walk across a typical-looking floor, you probably proceed without giving a second thought as to whether or not you are going to fall through it with any given step.
You have no way of KNOWING for sure that the floor is actually as sturdy and safe as it appears, but you proceed as if you had absolutely no doubts about each step.
To a certain extent, to live a normal, sane life, one has to just "believe" in certain things. Otherwise, you would be an over-cautious, neurotic mess that would never be able to accomplish much of anything.
However, when it comes to religion, this type of belief does not really apply. You can get by perfectly well whether you choose to believe in a god or not. Moreover, as some of the major religions demand that you actually shape your entire life around a belief in their god, its a good idea to give some serious thought as to whether or not this belief is likely to be false. Choosing to place too much belief in some religions can easily hinder your ability to experience and enjoy life in a rational manner.

We do it every day. You believe your Mother and Father are your parents, and even a DNA test is not completely conclusive evidence that it's so. There's the slimmest chance that they're not. After all, you were way too young to know for sure. But you accept it as truth, and everyone around you accepts it as truth, and no one really questions it. You could, in fact, have been someone else's child and got switched. But we accept certain things as true, with or without any real evidence (I mean, have you ever had a paternity test done?), and never think a thing about it.

Why don't you get to know him, then you will find out why you should believe in him.
Take electricity for example: You can not see it, taste it or touch it. You can see the effects that it has but you got to know how to use it, if you did not I would not be answering your question right now.

You can choose to believe or not in something you don't know, yes. That is what "choice" or "freewill" is all about.

specially fake. Karma is an jap non secular philosophy which teaches that despite you do in this existence you will acquire what you sow. In different words, once you're exhibiting unfavorable capability to the international or producing unfavorable karma by skill of abusing kin, that abuse is cyclical and the abuse will return returned to the abuser or the cycle of abuse will unfold to individuals. the proper thank you to interrupt this style of unfavorable cycle is for somebody to psychologically unencumber themselves from the negativity of the abuse by skill of accepting the shortcomings of individuals and forgiving. Buddhist philosophy encourages human beings to loose themselves from the bondage of undesirable karma by skill of forgiving and forgetting. human beings could additionally generate stable karma. in accordance to Christians, Muslims, and Jews, god will divinely punish the depraved for his or her sins in this existence or in the afterlife. the known monotheistic faiths usually instruct that god will divinely avenge the suffering of the forged by skill of punishing the depraved in the afterlife (by skill of sending unbelievers and depraved human beings to hell) or in the process a time of severe judgment known because of the fact the Day of the Lord (AKA: Judgment day). of direction, particular Christians instruct that Christians are stored by skill of religion and that faith is the only necessity for eternal salvation this shall we you kill 2 hundred human beings and nonetheless circulate to heaven by skill of believing in Jesus. those innovations of eternal damnation, divine punishment, and salvation by skill of religion on my own makes the proper monotheistic faiths greater immoral than jap non secular philosophy.
