....are we supposed to let people walk all over us?

I may have taken things a little out of hand on my last question, which wasn't even addressed to atheists in the first place,

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnsXJOXRrtNji3LCmB2G5Absy6IX?qid=20070703114518AAfUNyS

but it is getting irritating at the way atheists answer questions on here.

They insult, ridicule, curse, and become arrogant jerks that think they are better and smarter than anyone that believes in God, but mainly Christians.

They even answer questions that aren't addressed to them, as they probably will this one.

My irritation got the best of me on the last question, I admit.

But, Christians, how much are we supposed to sit there and take from these people?

For those who are parents:
Do you love your children?
Would you allow them to be tortured?
How about crucified?
How about eternally tortured?
If you did allow this, would it be fair of us to say that you really didn't love your children?
Would it be fair to say that you were a nutcase?
Would I urinate on you if you were on fire?

Does praying help,,,? What if Some Big Bad Wolf came along and wanted to kill you. Would you drop to your knees and start prEying (bagging) for your life, and you died anyway...
So the Big Bad Wolf (Lucifer) just had an easy kill... Now if you stand and fight, you might just kill the wolf of at least wound him before he moves unto another sheep. Just enough so they can take down the Big Bad Wolf. Sorry about the Riddles.

Just think about it,,, Would you lay there and die or would God want you to fight evil and have a better chance of living?

A lady I hardly knew was at my dad's funeral.

While I was eating she came up to me didn't even say "sorry or anything." She continued on and on at least an hour about her problems and life in general. I was already depressed about my dad and other things. Then a year later after my dad's death she starts following me at my church, and then the store I go to grocery store shopping at and the same laundromat too, and asking me strange questions, about me and my family! She was stalking me, because she lives 20 minutes away and there are plenty of stores and 2 churches where she lives.

Is she crazy or what, and what do you make of this?

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

In the time of Saul the Holy Spirit did not always strive with man.. but in today's NW testament times does the Spirit LEAVE US..does the LORD leave us even though He said He will NEVER leave us?

Does departing from the Faith MEAN that the Spirit will leave us?
This is a crucial kind of question and there are many misconceptions regarding it..
Some verses to strengthen your arguement will be much appreciated.
YES OR NO

No matter what your faith, do you have a feeling that something is going to happen soon? My husband and I feel this building of thought that another terrorist attack here in the States will happen soon. It's just a feeling, and it is probably irrational. We were just wondering if anyone else feels the same way?

The Bible says that everyone falls short of the Glory of God, and that we, as believers, should not judge one another. One sin is no greater than any other. So why is it that a lot of Christians claim all gay people are headed straight for hell? What about the straight Christians who are cheating on their wives/husbands... Where will they end up?

"Steve Graham points out that you and I are, ourselves, more like a wave than a permanent thing. He invites us, the reader, to think of an experience from your childhood, something you can remember clearly; something you can see, feel, maybe even smell, as if you were really there. After all, you really were there at the time, weren't you? How else would you remember it?

But here is the bombshell...

You weren't there! Not a single atom that is in your body today was there when that event took place. Matter flows from place to place and momentarily comes together to be you. Whatever you are, therefore, you are not the stuff of which you are made.

If that doesn't make the hair stand up on the back of your neck, read it again until it does, because it is important."

~ Richard Dawkins

Southerners brought the slave in (who by the way spoke no English) and then forbid them to learn the language. Then they spoke words like giiiiirrrrrll, which is actually girl, but sounded like gull to the slave ear. For years this was the language of communication among slaves so just as banks still close on Wednesday at noon ( the official day and time of slave trading) in the south. The language of the slaves continues due to tradition and this will be a hard tradition to break.

So the next time you hear someone in the south say the word dawg remember this is a descendent of those who involuntarily taught Ebonics to the slaves. So I ask you again, is the southern drawl bad English?

M co-workers are constantly bitching about their property taxes and how life and the company is doing them wrong. I agree with them but dont want to hear about it all day. It is a small company and the owner is frequently out of town.
