i have a friends (dude) that says he's straight and usually really acts it. but not if its just me and him alone. if its just the two of us he just seems so different. he acts like he's bi, he majorly flirts with me and usually we hug or even cuddle. but then if we're hanging out with other people he just seems to ignore me like that. but i also think that might be because all his other friends use to accuse him of being gay, and he would get really upset about it. so i was always there to make him feel better. but i never liked him, i figured there would be no point since he always says he's straight. but lately he's started being flirtatious with me even with his friends around. and i dont know if its just simple goofing around or if its serious. and if it is serious, how do i go around telling him how i feel. because lately i have been having feelings for him. what should i do and how should i do it?

i am having a hard time figuring out why christians think their god is anymore real than the other gods. just because a book tells you, does that make it real?

just because harry potter says he's real in the harry potter books, doesn't make him so. he is still just something that's made up.

the other gods had books about them too. the other gods had the virgin birth story as well as many others that are in the bible. most of christianity was "borrowed" from paganism, so how does this make your god more real than the others?

you can't say the truth is in your heart because that's what the followers of the other gods say too.

Do children "learn" it on their own based pn personal experiences? This is a serious question so please keep it serious and w/o racist insults regardless of your personal beliefs. Thank you.

Do you believe the apathy in the church today is caused largely by desensitization from the media?

Acording to some who answered in my last questions, it was stated that Noah's global flood is believed to have occured between the years 2657 - 2300 bce. it is also believed that the flood was powerful enough to carve geological features such as America's Grand Canyon.

If that is to be believed, how do literalists explain Ancient Egypt?

*There is no disruption in their recorded civilization.
*There is no disruption in the Dynastic records of the Egyptian Pharaohs
*Construction of the first Pyramid at the Giza complex commenced in 2630 bce
*The height of pyramid construction was between 2500 - 2400 bce

If a Great Flood wiped out the Earth's population and carved canyons, why was the Egyptian civilization un phased, unintereupted and how did the Pyrimids survive when the flood thousands of Cubic miles of Earh in the Grand Canyon?

I'm just wondering how you reconcile that.

You know, the theory that we involved from monkeys. I personally believe in that theory, and to me, that doesn't mean that I am against God. Is it not possible that God had intended this evolution? That he wanted us to keep an opened mind despite what it says in the Bible? If you don't believe that we involved from monkeys, then I can infer that you don't believe that dinosaurs exsisted because that would go against the Adam and Eve theory.

I was just wondering. It seems that I always hear Christians bashing homosexuality, but say very little about adultery which is one of the commandments.

The other day some one linked a video about how theists explained the impossibility of evolution because no one has found life spontaneously generating in a peanut butter jar. I do not have that link, but I’m sure about 12,000 people out there do. My theory on that video is that it is an atheist conspiracy to make theists look like idiots. No one who has the intelligence to dress themselves could possibly buy into that so it has to be a conspiracy by atheists. ‘Fess up some one. Who is out there not playing fair?

Close your eyes
And picture peace
Quiet your spirit
And give it ease.
Rest in contentment
Within your soul.
Release your worries
And you will know.
I have not wise
Words to share.
But I would say I love you.
And that I care.

Peace Be With You,

Thor, son of Odin, died on the world tree for all of your sins. Then this Jesus guy thought it would be very cool if he too, son of a god, were to die on a tree and did so afterwards. Why doesn't Jesus just find his own way to die and quit ripping off Thor? What next, will Jesus descend on Earth with his trusty warhammer Mjolinr?

PS, if anybody ever does find the True Cross, I'm going to burn it in retaliation for St. Boniface's cutting down Thor's Oak in Germany, 723AD. You Christians have no shame, demolishing sacred sites and relics of other faiths rather than just proving the existence of your own. Needless to say, History has records of Thor, but not Jesus or even the Ark. Yet you call Thor "Mythology"?
