Julia Incacnacion: If it wasn't necessary I would not have included it, unfortunately many homophobes cannot admit to their own homophobic condition but they cannot wriggle out of the anti-gay description.

P.I.T: You are wrong, according to the APA homosexuality is not a perversion but a normal human variation in sexual orientation.

The answer is obvious. God destroyed his creation wholesale several times. This last attempt has been an utter failure. In desperation, 2,000 years ago he decreed that anyone who makes the wrong choice gets everlasting hell, so people better wise up. Homosexuals, large in number as they are, are a sign of the pathetic power of god, given his large number of errors. Homosexuals should not feel singled out, as everyone has done something that god hates. He hates his failures, and so will send them all to hell for some sin or other.

God is anti-sin. Period. Homosexuality is a sexual perversion, and it is a sin. God wishes everyone would repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour. All sinners, including homosexuals.

Humans are not designed for homosexuality, any 5th grade science class can tell you that. Health problems are rampant in homosexuals, because of only their lifestyle, and it just goes against everything society has been taught for thousands of years.

It goes against the family and marriage of a man and a woman. That is what God instituted.

No matter how accepted it is in a culture, it is sin, and it is wrong.

EDIT:
I guess it is a good thing that I don't put much faith in the APA. They had is classified as a mental disorder until they were put under pressure and threatened. They have about as much integrity as the ACLU.

Some people use their religion to try to justify their own prejudices. That is why only the anti gay laws of Leviticus are accepted while the rest are thrown out as insignificant laws. There is a gnostic text, that was kept out of the Bible, that seemed to show Jesus as accepting of gays. It's called Secret Mark. It is very controversial for this very reason, and that's probably why it was rejected. Any gnostics around during the early times of Christianity were killed for even having a copy of Secret Mark.

Jesus said that since the beginning a man shall leave his parents & find his woman and they two shall be one flesh.

So? Gods purpose was always that a man should find his woman... God isn't an anti-gay homophope. God isn't afraid of anything. But, yes maybe God doesn't want people to suffer the conscequence of their sin sometimes. So, this grieves God. But then, when God knows the final outcome, maybe God enjoys people suffering the conscequences of their sin.

He wasn't exactly.

Now consider this: Remember when Jesus said "By their fruits ye shall know them."? I'm thinking he meant that in a nice way, and he was hinting that he's okay with fruits and queers.

Every time I ask about that the church people come out in hordes and revile me. But I am not deturd, I shall look for more verses. Say three hallelujahs to Jesus.

Christians did. God is not an anti-gay homophobe just many of his "followers". The problem is that so many people think what christians are so is God.

Because his plan and purpose was to have man and woman and they were to love and reproduce. When sin entered it altered everything that God started and what his plan and purpose were. We are more accepting of gay, lesbian, and so is God he loves the person hates the sin of the man laying with man and the woman laying with woman because they were designed to share that love with the opposite sex or he would have created Adam and Paul and Eve wouldn't have entered the picture.

considered the possibility that the original law was merely a "for your own good" exclusion of a physical act that was medically risky?

Maybe it was a clue to what God believed in when the Bible stated that God made man and woman and expected them to mate and populate the earth?

Peace be with you :)
