It never happened. Every "conversation with God" that has ever occurred in history was either someone who was taking drugs and hallucinating, or a self righteous, self important prick making it up to look good in the face of his "followers" ( I call them cattle). There is no God that would tell someone to have all free thinking women killed. There is no God that would tell the Christians they are better than the Jews...especially since they worship the same God. There is no God that would tell you there are 40 virgins waiting in heaven if you blow yourself up inside of a crowded building. Simply rediculous.

God loves all of us. We are all His children. We all have a special place in His heart, and a special part to play in this world. Not one of us is better than another. We are all needed. Each person has their own unique set of gifts and life experiences that enable them to accomplish certain things better than others.

In the Bible, it is written about the body of Christ being formed by many members, but like the human body it would cease to function optimally if one of the members were not there. (It may not be fun to be the bowels, and push the poop, but someone has to do the dirty work to keep the entire body healthy.) In this way, we are all equally important.

I hope this helps.

Good question, that's one of the reasons I'm not a believer anymore. If he does exist and is the epitome of love and we are all his children, he would talk to all of us. It sure would clear up alot of confusion about which religion is right, wouldn't it?

Consider this - If men wanted to control groups of people, wouldn't a good way be to create a god say they are the only ones that can communicate with this god fellow?

God speaks to all of us everyday.
If a man stands and questions, yet never pauses to hear the answers......it is he who has blocked out the answer.
A better answer is what are yo doing to hear the answers God is providing for you. Or are you just screaming at the sky asking why your spopiled buttt can't have some materialistic, childish want?
Try less MTV and a little more of a real source of information.

He does not make any difference. He just reveals to the person who is willing to make his will and obey him. Let´s face it, almost no one will devote as Moises or Jeremy or, most recently, Billi Graham or Mother Theresa of Calcutta.

He indeed wants us ALL to be part of it, but He gives us the right to make our own decisions, good or bad, He respects us ans steps aside if we ask him to do so. That is how much He loves us!

God reveals himself and speaks to us all the time, the problem is we don't see or hear him.

God Are you Real?
The child whispered,
"God, speak to me"
And a meadowlark sang.
The child did not hear.
So the child yelled,
"God, speak to me!"
And the thunder
rolled across the sky
But the child did not listen.
The child looked around and said,
"God let me see you"
and a star shone brightly
But the child did not notice
And the child shouted,
"God show me a miracle!"
And a life was born
but the child did not know.
So the child
cried out in despair,
"Touch me God,
and let me know
you are here!"
Where upon...
God reached down
And touched the child.
But the child
brushed the butterfly away
And walked away
.....unknowningly.

God doesn't speak to anyone. Those who say he does are so desperate for love, guidance, or justification that they mistake their concious or their mental disorder depending on their acts as a sign of their uniqueness and specialness. If one wants to believe in God then that's great - but if he really exsisted wouldn't he help those in the most need first? You never hear a child say God talked to them - only adults....yet how many kids suffer unspeakable horrendous acts every day? Believe what makes you happy but remeber only you have the power to make your life worthwhile.

No. Some people choose to exploit you and your religion by claiming to be important (at least that's what god told them!) in order to take your money and control you. How can a good little christian deny the word of god?

And god just told me that you need to send me $100. Please don't upset god, I dearly want to see you in Heaven. I accept Pay Pal and cashier's checks.

hey God works in mysterious ways. everything happens for a reason, and also, you dont know if half of these ppl are just {a} making it up, or {b} a mentally demented person. we dont know all the answers until we are up there.

and also, God has never revealed Himself to anyone. i dont care what ppl say, He has never done that... we can feel him, and see his miracles, but that is all.

the almighty choses certain folks to do certain tasks that he deems required to accomplish his will. he spoke to noah about the ark but first noah had to learn about gopher wood (lumber class 101), tree pitch (sealing stuff 101), haversines (shiphull design 101) and cubits. (those darn cubits again). have faith, the big guy really does exist. a few years ago i came within three hours of dieing (stroke) said a prayer and had three angels sent to me.
