1. God LOVES you and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life.

"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" John 3:16.

Why is it that people are not experiencing the abundant life?

2. Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.

Man Is Sinful
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23.

3. Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.

"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8.

4. We must individually RECEIVE Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" John 1:12

Finding Catholic Apologetics in regard to Protestant Christians is quite easy to find - but I haven't yet found any in regard to Non-Denominational - even though they seems similar some non-denom believe they are neither catholic or protestant (personally I feel they are more protestant as many often hold the similar believes, sola scriptura, etc)

Any Catholic apologetics in regard to Non-Denom Christians would be greatly appriciated. I don't mind protestant opinions, but I feel that many non-denoms step back and only argue against Catholisim yet tend not to have their own beliefs that are able to be argued for or against

Many of you here told me I wasn't and you were all right, I was never a true Christian.

I repeatedly asked God / Jesus into my heart but I never felt as though I was born-again, never felt I had the holy spirit with me. As hard as I prayed, as hard as I tried, as badly as I wanted it, It never happened.

Why does God not want me as his child?

For instance, according to Mark 10, a woman who is divorced and remarried is living in a state of sin. If she was divorced for reasons other than adultery, she would be an adulteress just for being remarried. Would she have to get a second divorce to go to heaven?

I've been invited to a wedding shower for a co-worker. My husband can be a bit jealous at times and does not want me to go to the party at all. He has agreed to let me attend the shower, but asked that I not go out to any bars with the ladies after the shower. He has also asked that I not drink at this shower which is not a problem because I don't care to drink. There will be drinking there and after the shower is a bachelorette party at a local bar. I know that I will get pressure from the women at the shower to go with them to the bar. How can I leave after the shower without offending the bride to be and without making my husband seem like a controlling jerk?

Yes, I know there is a problem with my husband not trusting me, but I need to respect his wishes since he has allowed me the time to go to at least the shower.

I am going to an event that is black tie and want to make sure that I look as good as the other women at the event. What kind of dress, shoes should I wear? I know this is really formal so is it more classy to wear closed toed shoes. I am guessing that bare legs are inappropriate.

Does anyone know where I could find a cute dress for under $200 that would meet my needs?

i was raised in a baptist church where we were taught that mormons, catholics, and almost anyone not baptist was going to hell. Personally i think its a huge laod of crap. I think god came to different parts of the world in different ways. To some buddha, to some tinkashila, to some jesus christ... but isn't it all the same idea? what are yur thoughts?

I have asked about 300 questions here, and answered just about 3,500 but none of it has really be helpful. Yet I ask two questions in the Math section and get more truth than I ever got in the R&S section. I mean here people just say "my God is better than your God. I am smarter than you. I am a free thinker you are a slave to a book. I am going to heaven you will be tortured in hell. Jesus is a myth. No Jesus is God. No Jesus is a good man with wild stories attributed to him"

Aside from getting a good laugh or defending your beliefs, or pushing them, have you actually learned anything here? I mean really learned something, not just learning that people are disrespectful. You know, a clear revelation. "Whoa. I never saw that. Cool". That kinda thing. Like when I first saw the Xbox 360 in action.

My ex-boyfriend abused me for the first time and i called the cops on him. He in turn made everyone think i did him something wrong and tried to get me fired from my really excellent job. During the relationship i felt like he was cheating and after the relationship ended the feeling was even strong. I was very hurt by this situation b/c i was really nice to him and cared about him very much but he did me soooooo wrong. Because he bought the situation to work and made me seem like i'm someone i'm not, i am now very uncomfortable when i come to the job. Every since we broke up i have been questioning if i did something wrong or not b/c it seems as if bad things have been happening to me and it seems as if i'm being punished. He seems to be happy and have moved on, he has a better job than me, and he recently purchased a new house and i am very unhappy. Why does it seem like i am being punished and he is being blessed and he did something wrong and i didnt?

If your child told you he had memories of his past life, describing exactly where he lived, his family members, etc would you investigate this? Or would you ignore it as if it’s a figment of his imagination? And assuming you decided to investigate and you found what he said was accurate, would you re-consider reincarnation?

prefer my image of Jesus, As the Christ Conciousness which resides, hidden, waiting to be found, in our Heart Chakra.
I believe that Jesus was a man who found the Conciousness and became Christed. Christ is a title not a name. It means messenger. So Jesus became the messenger of God.
God is also a title meaning everything with no exclusions is a part of God.
I know that a lot of you will not understand what I say, but thats your problem, not mine.

One of my favorite things to do is to say that I am an atheist on yahoo answers and then call christians dumb for believing in God and then read all the angry responses from christains for questioning the existance of god. I think it's hilarious when I make christians mad and it makes my day when they try to defend god using some sort of stupid sundayschool line. Does anyone else enjoy doing stuff like that?

Assemblyman Daniel O'Donnell explains it pretty well. Quote from the same-sex marriage debate in the New York State Assembly:

"I do not want a seat in your synagogue, I do not want a pew in your church. I seek a license that many of you have had, some of you have had two or three times."
