I have asked about 300 questions here, and answered just about 3,500 but none of it has really be helpful. Yet I ask two questions in the Math section and get more truth than I ever got in the R&S section. I mean here people just say "my God is better than your God. I am smarter than you. I am a free thinker you are a slave to a book. I am going to heaven you will be tortured in hell. Jesus is a myth. No Jesus is God. No Jesus is a good man with wild stories attributed to him"
Aside from getting a good laugh or defending your beliefs, or pushing them, have you actually learned anything here? I mean really learned something, not just learning that people are disrespectful. You know, a clear revelation. "Whoa. I never saw that. Cool". That kinda thing. Like when I first saw the Xbox 360 in action.

I find it helpful in terms of learning what other people believe, and why. It's opened my eyes to a number of new theological perspectives and philsophies.

I've learned some stuff on here because I am truly open minded and whether I like the answer or not I take something out of all the answers I get here. Unfortunately one of the things that I have learned is that there are a lot of hateful people on here and in the world as well. I've also learned that just because some people claim to be your friend whether on here or in real life doesn't necessarily make it so. You find out how people truly are when it comes to the subjects of religion as well as politics and to be quite honest I've lost some respect for some people of different groups on here and have found respect for certain other people of different groups on here.

the finished 'debate' is what's a severe question? How do you gage somebody's sincerity? as quickly as you initiate off attempting to respond to questions like that then you rather initiate off getting into censorship and on an identical time as there are some aspects (to me) that are open and close no circulate aspects in a public communicate board there are greater gray aspects then you rather comprehend. on the tip of the day it rather is easy adequate to pass questions which you do in contrast to, in fact if greater people did that then there could be much less room for the various idiots/trolls who infect Yahoo solutions greater often than not. I get excitement from non secular greater open ended questions the place there is a few room for debate or opinion. I save coming lower back, because of fact I nevertheless locate it beautiful how purely about all those people from distinctive walks and an prolonged time of existence certainly come jointly and initiate off communicatings thoughts and ideology.

That's how I felt just yesterday. If you find a really good question and a really good answer and I'm finding there are some. Find their profiles then read the answers to the questions they answered. Also here's a website for you. This man really knows his stuff. www.askmeaboutgod.org. Also I found that if you look at the top of Religion and Spirituality you will see, imacatholic has some good answers too. Read your bible and use your Internet for information. That's what it's for. Good question, by the way.

I have learned a lot. I know more about my belief and about others, and what better way to be a good human. This is R&S so all answers are somewhat opinionated, math is obviously direct with no inclusion of contradictry things. But the things we learn here we cant learn anywhere else and vice vesa.

I'm new to this category but already I have learned one thing: many people are not even being taught basic facts about the world's major religions!
I do find this a tad alarming. Even though we may never agree with each other, I feel it's valuable and important to at least understand what others believe.

I don't come here to learn, instead I come to marvel at the people that ask silly questions that could be answered with a basic google search. And for the record, my God is indeed the best..

I agree with moonlite muslimah, I have learned a lot about other people's beliefs, and I've met great people who have helped me with my doubts, questions, and problems. I also know a lot more about my religion because of Answers, thank God.

Confirmed that the idea of being judged by a perfect God scares the bejesus out of people whether they will admit it or not.
