As a biblical scholar and theologian, I can tell you that although there are certainly simularities between different Christian denominations, I must tell you also that differences abound and are vast. The main concept, central to identity as a Christian, is that 1. Jesus of Nazareth was the son of God (Incarnation) who was sent, out of love from God, to teach us through his life, and whose death, resurrection and assention enabled humanity to enter into a blissful afterlife in the presence of God. 2. The concept of the Trinity: That God is one God, but of three essences: God the Father, All-powerful, Jesus, the son who restores our relationship with God, and the Holy Spirit, the creative aspect. These concepts are incredibly difficult to explain in a few sentences, but that is the jist. Then you move onto Jesus's central lessons of compassion, justice for the marginalized, and obviously his intense belief in a personal, intimate relationship with god and belief in an afterlife of divine love.

in christianity there is only 1 god but there are 3 parts to him that work in a mysterious and complete harmony. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God created the earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th. God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten son so that he may die for the sins of man and his name was jesus. Jesus was crucified and rose from the grave in 3 days showing gods triumph over sin and death. go buy a bible and read it it should help more
