Did you know hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, and the twin towers fell because a black-puertorican girl did roots (voodoo) on a native american girl?

The black-puertorican was JEALOUS of the native american girl who would recieve monthly percapita from her tribe that own and operate a casino. The tribe had all there money tied in stocks, and investments. When the black-peurtorican girl worked voodoo on her, her prayers involved money. Where the money is coming from.

Up from out of the smoke came the image of satan himself. Voodoo is the work of the beast.

I am directly descended from Charlemagne, William the Conquerer, Henry I, Henry II, Henry III, Edward I, Edward II, Edward III, Henry VII, Mary Tudor, Mary, Queen of Scots, James I, Charles I, Charles II, and James II, the latter several through illegitimate lines, but the ones before that through legitimate lines. I am also directly descended from the Percy and Spencer Families in England. I don't expect I can do much, but I figure it is worth the effort, seeing as how there is nothing to lose.

Does your everyday life prove you are? Can people tell you are because of your actions? Do you just put on a act at church and the rest of the week live like you want? Is Jesus just your Savior or is He Savior and Lord? Do you know what it means to have Jesus as Lord of your life not just your Savior?

I am a chistian and am really getting tired of other christians and non christians who think that God owes them something. I read on here everyday how this ones mad at God or God has somehow cheated them in there life. Let me tell you something , God doesn't owe us anything.. He made us,we are his. He gave us a perfect world and then we,{not God} messed it up. But now we want to whine and complain when this world is going crazy. Be thankful he gave us a way to escape this world, when he gave us Jesus.

Sometimes I find myself very skeptical about if God can hear me and that leads me to believe he doesn't care about me if I can't find it in my own heart to know that he is really there. How do I talk to God? Does he understand me?

Or that a rejection of deism must lead to atheism - nominally a rejection of deism but as practiced a rejection of mysticism altogether. I embrace elements of many mystical systems but reject organised religion and deism,in other words personification of spiritual qualities. My experience is most atheists pretty much reject the idea of spirituality, apparently because they cannot conceive of it without personification. Opinions? This is my first question,so forgive me if I am putting it somewhat awkwardly.

Inspired by Gandalf's curiosity, I thought I'd throw out an enquiry to the R&S community. Could you tell us up to three surprising things about yourself that most people you know don't know? I'm not interested in personal stuff, just things about you that surprise people you tell. For example, here's mine:

1) I've never owned an umbrella
2) I'm faceblind (prosopagnosia)
3) I have a resting pulse of 51.

They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. Titus 1:16

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Matthew 7:21

What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your[d] works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? James 2:14-20

is it true that even if you saw all proofs and evidences, and even if heavens fall down beyond you, the dead will talk to you, that you will still not believe?

[111] And even if We had sent down unto them angels, and the dead had spoken unto them, and We had gathered together all things before their very eyes, they would not have believed, unless Allâh willed, but most of them behave ignorantly.
Quran 6:111

Sometimes I feel as if the church at large doesn't seem to understand it. We say we do, but in the big scheme of things. I don't think so. True Repentance is admitting your wrong, asking for forgiveness, and shutting it down from there, never meaning to do it again. True Repentance is saying God, I say I am yours and that I LOVE YOU with all my heart and if that is so, I must and WILL do all that pleases you. I will eliminate that which I am doing wrong for you.

I know I've answered my own question, but I want to see what you think the definition is.

Please don't think I'm portraying myself as a perfect Christian. I am not, by any means, doing that. I'm growing and learning everyday and yes I do wrong and yes sometimes whatever the wrong is can be hard to stop. However, when I remind myself what I feel the definition of repentance is, it makes me feel more accountable to myself. I'm sure your answers will help me as well.

Why do Christians and other theist fear, despise, and reject atheist? Why are we judged as immoral, evil, and unjust because we don't believe in god? Why am I considered a threat to the American way of life?

I am a wife, mother, teacher, and student. I pay my taxes, donate to charity, and mow my lawn. I knit for orphan children in Mongolia, Afghanistan, and Russia. I recycle, pick trash up from the sides of the highway, and scoop my dog's poop. I read Agatha Christie, sing karaoke, and camp.

And yet, I am judged most often by one small aspect of my personality, I am an atheist.

Is it so hard for Christians to understand that I was once like them? I read my Bible, attended church three times a week, and knocked on doors. I was even a fundamentalist. Is it so hard to accept that I have rejected all of that for logic, reason, and common sense?

Why do Christians fear and mistrust me because I don't believe in god?

If Christians and churches were truly doing what they were called to do, think of the difference it would make in this world.

Churches are to help the hungry, poor, orphaned and widows...however, how much time, effort, energy and money is spent on raising funds to build bigger, better more expensive buildings...is this of God?

If that much effort/money was put into caring for the less-fortunate, what kind of change would that have on the world?

Isn't most crime a result of poverty
Isn't most teenage pregnancy the result of poor education.

The ills of our society is a result of people not having purpose or meaning in their life....

The ills of our society can be a result of people not having their basic needs met, not having positive role models, etc...

With the number of people in the country that identify themselves as Christians, why is their need and want? There are plenty of "Christians" that if acting God-like, could make a huge difference.

Your thoughts?
