Not any more. Now, they believe that dinosaurs peacefully co-existed with humans. Apparently, humans even saddled them.

Dinosaur bones are displayed in museums all over the world, but some people have believed and told their children that dinosaurs don’t fit with the Bible and so they must be a big hoax designed to convince people of evolution. But these people are very few (I have been around Christians my whole life and have only ever met one).
And then there are others who actually think the devil planted the dinosaur fossils to confuse Christians (but there is nothing in the Bible that even hints at this and those who believe in it are even fewer).
While denying the dinosaurs' existence may seem like a quick and simple way to avoid the topic for some Christians, this response is going to prove to be hard to swallow as their children come in contact with the evidence.
The thing is, dinosaurs fossils have been found on all seven continents—from North America to Antarctica. Their traces are even found on a few isolated oceanic islands. We have found the remains of their bones, eggs, footprints, and even some imprints from their skin.
There can be no doubt about it, dinosaurs really did exist. The evidence for their existence is too overwhelming. An honest investigation indicates that dinosaurs definitely roamed this earth.
That said, there is plenty of evidence of man and dinosaurs living contemporaneously. Like the fact that most cultures throughout the world possess ancient stories about dragons and sea monsters that closely resemble what we today would call dinosaurs.

Although I don't doubt that there may be a very very small sect that believe that way, it does not represent a majority of christians. Given that you heard that is science class tells me all I need to know.
When the bible says that God created for six days and he rested on the seventh is usually miscontrude by some through out the christian society. There are many in the christian faith that believe that each day was 24 hours although the Hebrew word for day in the bible, yowm, also means "a space of time".
That itself allows for the creation of dinosaurs. I believe that was a plan of God's because he knew long ago of are dependency and the benefits that we have recieved from "fossil fuel".
I have done quite a bit of personal research within the past couple of years about science v. bible and found that science has actually proved what is writeen in the bible more than it does to rebuke what is written.

There may be, but it does not agree with absolute reality. The reality is that there are fossils and footprints as well as rock drawings and about 3500 figurines found in South America, so anyone who chose to say that they did not exist are ignoring facts. Besides, three pterodactyls were killed in the Civil War and dragons were a problem until the late 1700s. It was only recently that man chose to say that dinosaurs did not exists or were only billions of years ago. Neither agrees with reality.

The bible is not a science book.
2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Man was created after God destroyed the dinosaurs.

Quote, "Do Christians think that the devil planted fossils and dinosaur skeletons?"
No doubt some do, but most Christians do not.

Some might have. But not all. I never believed that.
And why were you taught that in science class? Was that in the textbook, or did the teacher add that in? It's not true.

Some Christians do, others don't. Those who do are commonly referred to as Fundamental Christians because they believe absolutely everything the Bible says, whether it makes sense or not.
