They exist as temporal and theoretical possibilities, but are ultimately fragile offshoots of the main 'branch'.

You cannot make every possible decision there is to make, and thus every possible consequence. Therefore, one decision, and thus one consequence, define the main branch of existence, with the others being instructional only so far as they are 'games' that could have been (some of which are infinitely worse than what has happened, which also falls under possibility, and which define why they remain, in bulk, fragile at best.)

Sure. They're possible. The fact that this universe exists means that universes are possible. There's no reason to think that we're a one-off job. Of course, until we have any real evidence of any other universes, we can't really say much about them. There are theories based on the properties of this universe, but they are biased to the properties of this universe.

Of course, we have no real evidence of any gods. And unlike the universe, there's no example of a god to show the thing is possible. However, there is a lot of evidence that the histories of gods were all man-made, and that men tend to make up superstitions and myths like that. Even today, people make up urban legends that many people believe in.

Yes I believe in God and yes I think He could have created multiple parallel universes. I am not so vain as to think that I and other human beings must absolutely be the best He could come up with.

What is a universe exactly? Are you meaning literally (with other stars, moons, etc) or do you mean dimensions where creatures such as angels are found?

The universe is so vast, we are unable to really comprehend it. The idea of black holes deep in our galaxy has very recently been supported through circumstantial evidence. On a discovery channel show, there is a theory that black holes may be gateways to alternate universes and that two together may be gateways through time in our current universe.

If you mean dimensions, it seems that most religions support the thought. Astral projection, controlled dreams, hypnosis may be methods that allow us to connect with these other dimensions and the creatures in them. Our guardians, whether they be angels or elementals or others, are located in other dimensions.

Personally, I do believe in parallel universes - both scientifically and religiously and since I am religious, I do believe in Gods/esses.

Scientists think there might be
Because of all the anti-matter floating around
Which, apparently, exists outside of Star Trek.
So they're wondering where all the anti-matter goes and where it is.
So a parallel universe is a possibility.
Dunno about more than one, though.

And yeah, I believe in God.

So to everyone who's been saying there can be other universes next door:
There are.
They've been around for a long time, it isn't a recent discovery.
Stuff exists outside of our solar system.
You don't sound smart theorizing on a proven subject.

I find the concept of multiple, parallel universes fascinating. If it is ever shown that every action creates a new one, well it does lead to quite fantastic possibilities. None of which require a supreme being of any kind.

I'm not sure, and I haven't actually thought about it for years, since I stopped reading comic books.

Of course I refer to multiple parallel universes and not to God.

Its no longer purely atheist scientists who settle for that risk, faith would not come into it. They conjecture that risk may well be actual with the aid of mathematical opportunities in contact in string theory and likewise it suits various the data, which includes it could clarify why gravity is the weakest of the universe's forces. whether God exists or no longer has no longer something to do with technological awareness, it could purely learn the organic international no longer the supernatural

God is eternal
Time is eternal
Space is eternal
There is only 1 of each in the universe and there is only 1 eternal universe.
Science can not ever prove this untrue!

I think a Multiverse makes some sense but parallelism of the type where our every split femtosecond takes place in a separate universe is just too far out there.
- Multiverse is science
- Parallel universe is science fiction.
