Good for you. If I were to choose to also be gay, you'd be a great girlfriend. I'm still choosing to be straight, but that could change at a moment's notice.

You know, I'm gay, and it wasn't a "choice," because that's ridiculous, as pretty much everybody except the Pope admits by now - but even if I wasn't "gay by birthright," I WOULD choose to be gay. Why the hell not? I mean, sure, you have to put up with some bigots and idiots, but so what - so does every human being of any integrity, because eventually everybody will be confronted with people who object to them "on principle," and it's all about how they deal with it. But as for pros, hey, the sex is great, you understand each other (potentially) better than a man and a woman ever could, you double your wardrobe as Seinfeld noted, and you raise the property value wherever you move. Plus the sex is great.
In other words, good luck, but you don't need it...lol.
P.S. - Yeah, since people on this board are obviously pretty dense, let me just say that no, I don't actually think people can just choose a sexuality for convenience's sake. That's what some "Christians" believe apparently, but not me.

gayness isn't necissarly a choice, you know. I know several people who did not choose to be gay, but were just attracted to a person of the same sex even though they were perfectly straight. But, regardless, I wish you the best of luck! I hope you find the right one for you! And have fun (;
