then follow satan's voice, even though there is no such thing. do the thing that makes the most sense to YOU regardless of who said it, just make sure it is the sanest and best decision.

The God voice calls you to do what's in the best interest of another. The Satan voice never does.

This is so weird to explain to someone else, because it's not like another person's voice in my head, but I am compelled at times to do things outside my comfort zone. The times I haven't complied still haunt me.

Like once in Martha's Vineyard while visiting relatives, I had the strongest impulse to go talk to this woman. She was a new mom. Her husband, toddler and newborn were with her and they were all attempting to have breakfast in a popular bakery. The infant screamed her head off the entire time. The dad was visibly tense and the toddler was perfectly still - which scared me almost as much as the dead look in the mom's eyes. I don't think she had slept in weeks, but that wasn't it. She looked numb, not just exhausted.

The tension at that table was so tense, my niece - also a very sensitive person, though only 3 at the time - started to cry every time she looked over at that family.

I still wonder what happened to that lady. I just couldn't think of how in the world to go up and talk to her. In New England, people barely say "hello" to you. I figured her husband would have had me committed if I sat down at their table and told her I was concerned about her. And I think my husband's family would have disowned us both.

Still, I was seriously concerned that she might have postpartum depression. She just clearly needed _something_. And I still regret that I didn't take any steps to see that she got help of some sort.

I have felt that prompting at times and have intervened for people. Usually it means just listening or showing some compassion, but it means risking the awkwardness and fear of rejection.

Well, in MY head, the Satan voice sounds like James Earl Jones and the God voice sounds like Fran Drescher. No matter what each of them is saying, I just can't help but take the Satan voice way more seriously...

Mark7:21-23 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Men love evil and run to it rather than to God. So, if the satan voice makes more sense, it's because it's your own voice you hear.

Satan's voice might make more sense because he knows our weaknesses. He does not have to ask you to do bad things for him to win you over. He loves to make you to doubt God words, even deny God's word if he is very lucky. Satan cannot carry out his 'promises'

Satan's always sounds good almost like honey, but the end result is always disastrous. Look at Adam and Eve and what they got us into. Look what sin is doing to this planet?

After all your observation, it comes down to one thing, it is worth it listening to God's voice.

Then you are listening to the wrong voice. Satan is very deceiving. Satan wants you to follow him where he is going.
If you are not following Jesus you are following a thief. Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10) The devil is this thief that comes up with false teachers and religions. False teachers and religions only come to steal, kill, and destroy. So this makes the devil a liar. We have already learned that Jesus is the truth. Do you want to follow a liar or the way, the truth, and the life?

Satan is an evil demon trying to get you're soul to burn in hell forever. Its inposible for Satan to make more sence than God. Satan says execly what YOU want him to say. So I hope you believe what I say: Every word of the Lord you're God is pure; Every word of Satan, is of wickedry!

Remember, when satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness, he not only used logic, but he quoted Scripture, too. He is known as the deceiver for a good reason.
Even the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil had good knowledge, but it was still forbidden.
