I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND THE MYSTERY OF THE TRINITY! ! Since Jesus is the son of God, how is Jesus completely equal to God? and then there's the holy spirit which don't have a name so how can it be a person? i know that God is Spirit so isn't the holy spirit the power of God? also Jesus said that we are to pray to The Father in heaven, as Jesus himself did example john 17, and in verse 3 Jesus says that the Father is the only true God. IS JESUS WRONG?

i'm hopeing that some one can explain all these answers!

Within the last month I heard mention of a charitable organization that takes underwear donations and mends the underwear for distribution to the needy. I can't find reference to it anywhere.
HELP!

I heard this on the radio in the Cleveland, Ohio area. I believe a celebrity was promoting it.

Thank you!

Matt 12:46-50

46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, "Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you."

48 He replied to him, "Who is my mother , and who are my brothers?" 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother ."

Doesn't that kind of negate the dying-for-sins thing?

I mean maybe it wasn't exactly a real death huh?

Which is it, church people, you can't have it both ways. Either he died for your sins or he didn't.

If he got up and started walking around like nothing ever happened barely two days later, maybe you need to admit he died temporarily -- and maybe all you holy church people aren't exactly saved from your sins after all.

Replies from Bible scholars and other appreciated.

how do you determine which ark they've found? Is it the boat from Sumarian mythology? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sumer or perhaps China? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shanhaijing Could you tell if it was from India http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matsya_Purana or Greek civilizations http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ogyges.

My point is, how would it prove the HEBREW god?

I hear many times at the moment that Christians should tolerate other faiths and beliefs, but what does this mean? Some say that there is truth in all religions therefore it's ok to believe in Christianity but not ok to see it as more valid than other religions. What do you think?

I believe the world needs some serious
divine intervention. Now would be a good time.

then how is Jesus's death on the cross a sacrifice? I mean, if he's god, it's not like he has anything to lose by dying, right?

Was Jesus thinking to himself "I'll really show them, when God brings me off this cross and smites the bastards silly!"?

Cause when God didn't save him didn't Jesus start yelling "What's up with this?"?

To this day a lot of church people think Jesus died for their sins, but maybe he wasn't planning on dying just then. Maybe he had other ideas...

Replies from Bible scholars and others appreciated.

My brother is in the Marines and he asked me to send him some encouraging bible verses and verses that would lift his spirits. I don't know where to look and biblegateway.com isn't helping me too much. If you could tell me where to look or give some I will be extremly grateful.

If you are familiar with this or read the link, what is your opinion about bringing a non-Christian to this event? I have a non-Christian friend who was brought to this event by one of the church members and I thought that was a bad decision. Not that I disagree with what is being presented, but I think this is a very poor choice as an evangelism technique. This event is hosted by several churches and is well known in Georgia, but may not be elsewhere. What's your opinion?

If you choose "B" does that mean Atheists who have good values are Christians?

Evil people can be REAL Christians.

If you can be forgivin for murder when you murdered during the time that you were a Christian, Christians can be murderers
