If you are familiar with this or read the link, what is your opinion about bringing a non-Christian to this event? I have a non-Christian friend who was brought to this event by one of the church members and I thought that was a bad decision. Not that I disagree with what is being presented, but I think this is a very poor choice as an evangelism technique. This event is hosted by several churches and is well known in Georgia, but may not be elsewhere. What's your opinion?

It seems to be in rather bad taste to bring a non-Christian to something like this.
...honestly, having never actually experienced this "Tribulation Trail," it reminds me of Ned Flanders's violent "Christian" movies in one episode of the Simpsons. Personally, I don't think it should be supported at all.

I've never heard about it until now and it sounds very interesting. I think that you are right and that it's not a great tool in reaching out to non-believers.

First off Jesus stated that we are required to plant the seed and God would water it.. You can't plant the seed unless he was there or was in position to hear the word. Now what ever choices he make from there is on him and not you or your religious circle, For you did as God and Jesus reaffirmed. The part of what is required of you.....................................................................................

Sounds pretty sick and twisted to me. And no, I wouldn't bring someone you were trying to convert to it.

they wanted to bring non-believers and listen to them as well, why, not? listening what non-believers can say...and maybe non-believers will have faith, and will accept Christ. :)
