If you're such a perfect Christian, then you should know that having a relationship with Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your savior is THE most important aspect of being a Christian.......not simply going to church out of obligation. Does "Judge not lest ye be judged" ring a bell to you? Wow.

I didn't think that church was a prerequisite for being a Christian. Sure, you should "worship" God and follow the tenets of your chosen faith, but mindlessly going to church if it doesn't fit into your schedule(some people, like myself, are forced to work weekends, holidays, etc.). I'm not a Christian, but I used to be one, and we went to church 3+ times a week and I went to parochial school and had Bible class every day and chapel once a week.
I figure I got church covered for the next century or so! Seriously, though, I used to go to the Unitarian church here and really liked it. The fellowship was great. I come from the old school where you put CASH in the plate (I don't need a tax deduction). So, the church was sending me statements that said $0 paid toward my pledge of $xxx a year. I got mad and left.
Basically, many churches are out for money. I understand that they need to pay utilites and mortgage just like everyone else does, but when they start nickel and diming you for everything and charging for thing that should be free, such as church groups using the church for religious purposes, then it's time to go. I tried a couple of others and like them as well, but as I said, I work weekends now.
Where I used to go to church when I was a kid (Evangelical Baptist), they told people they should quit a job that made them work when they were "supposed to be at church", such as Wednesday night and Sunday (morning and evening). That's crazy. The whole "God will provide" thing drives me crazy. I think God would be mighty mad if you quit a job that supports your family to support a church.
I say, worship in your own way. What drives me crazy are those that NEVER step in a church and then try to tell people how they are doing wrong according the Catholic, Baptist, whatever religion.

If you celebrate christmas and easter and worship on sunday there is no reason to call yourself a christian. All those things are pagan. Introduced by the roman church. They are totally against plain Biblical teaching.

i feel this song is a decent answer
Artist: Sanctus Real
Album: Fight The Tide
Title: Deeds
Yeah, Mr. Deeds has got you wrapped around his finger
With what you think you need to do to be delivered
You look for accidents so you can be the hero
You wrote the charity check that ends in double zeros
You help old ladies cross the street,
You welcome homeless where you sleep
You give to everyone in need,
You even hold a city key
Aren't you great?
But that's not good enough
If you don't have faith you have nothing at all
If you don't have deeds your faith will fall
They can't be true without each other
you can't have one without the other
You think that faith is where you sit in a sunday morning
You've got a front row seat where you can be seen snoring
Throughout the week you live your life inside a bubble
You find your happiness avoiding people's thoughts
Your life revolves around yourself,
You don't treat others very well
You say your faith will get you by and that you won't be left behind
You might be right, but that's not good enough
If you don't have deeds you have nothing at all
If you don't have faith your deeds will fall
They can't be true without each other
You can't have one without the other
You know I can't see thinking
That I'd be better off living just for selfish ambition, no
I know that faith is more than just believing
We should do the right
Things, for the right reasons

Well I go to church each sunday I can, and christmas is a pagan holiday honouring a pagan god (jesus was not born in december, all the facts show he was born in summer) but the false god celebrated in december also demanded sacrifices of little children and babies under evergreen trees to the sun god to please him and get their wishes. That is where the christmas tree comes from... Gift under the evergreen, = sacrificed babies to please a god.... Not a christian holiday at all, no where it the bible it is said we're to celebrate this or even the birth of Christ.
Easter is also a pagan holiday/ritual, a sexual holiday (eggs and rabbits = sex and fertility rituels).
We celebrate the Passover to comemorate Jesus's triumph over death, over evil by his death and resurection! Not easter! (from the goddess ishtar! do your research on her!!!)

Church is not a HAVE to, church is a GET to. Church is a place where you get together with other believers and worship God in unity. Church is a privilege. Other countries people get killed if they are caught worshiping God. Other countries have people dieing everyday for the sake of Jesus and some (so called) Christians can not even get out of bed and go to church. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. (Titus 1:16) Do you profess to know God but deny Him with your actions. You say I believe there is a God and I know I am saved. Do you know believing is not enough. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! (James 2:19) Alot of people just want Jesus to be your Savior and not your Lord. Jesus will say I Never Knew You to these people who do not make Him Lord.
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:21-23
You have to do the will of the father. This verse is saying not eveyone who believes will go to heaven, but the ones who do the will of the father will go to heaven. If you think I am wrong email me and tell me why.

Yes, they should be going to church every Sunday, but going only twice a year is better than none at all.
